Batman: Arkham Origins - Ask GameSpot
We take on the bat in this episode of Ask GameSpot and answer any lingering questions you may have about Arkham Origins.
I want to know, what about Rocksteady? Will they be making a sequel to Arkham City or were the Harley Quinn DLC the last we saw from Rocksteady? :D
I'm from denmark, my English is bad. Sorry
One question I would have liked to be answered is how big is Gotham City? Since Arkham City was supposed to be only a small section of Gotham, I would imagine Gotham to be huge in comparison...
What does Copperhead have to do with Miley Cyrus? And please don't tell me to "Google it"; I'm not that interested...lol
I am loving that thumbnail.
"I am gonna bite you!"
Didn't realize we could do silent head chomp takedowns. Better get the Bat-A-Teeth ready.
I just hope the controls work in the single player game.. i played some of the mulit-player beta when it was released and the controls didn't work right.. I know it was a beta but sometimes the action was delayed, sometimes the hitting the buttons did nothing at all... if the controls work in the main single player part of Batman Arkham Origins like they did in Arkham Asylum/ City, then the game is a buy for me... even if Kevin Conroy isn't batman this time around.. which does suck..
I ask you. Is it too much to ask to get Kevin Conroy and Mark Hammil as Batman and Joker's voice actor in this game? They are "The Real Deal". I don't want "Ben Afflack" wannabes ruin the atmosphere of Batman. P.S to Ben Afflack...."You're NOT Batman."
Those animations are looking a little dusty. What I've seen so far hasn't really gotten me excited for release. Hopefully there's some depth to that multiplayer, and harley sits on my fa...erm...does cool stuff.
im a huge batman fan and loved the first game. the second was ok but this just looks like the same stuff. maybe a rent. but nothing more then that.
Well it looks like the option was for Copperhead to look kinda like Miley Cyrus, or exactly like Serpentor, and they felt the Miley look was the one that would be less ridiculous...HAHAHAHAHA!!! COBRA LALALALALALA!
The clip of Smith's Batman voice near the beginning of the segment was awesome, can't wait to hear his whole performance.
You know, people complained about how the Wii-U was too similar in name to the Wii, and how it was difficult to grasp that it was a different thing.
And yet, I still have a hard time telling the difference between all of these Batman 'Arkham' games. I swear, it gets confusing listening to people discuss these games because it just sounds like they're talking about the last Arkham game again.
I will really miss Kevin Conroy for this game, and I hope he returns, but this new voice doesn't sound that bad to me. I can't wait for this game!
@hm9408 by birth, a man. now wants to be a woman.
@MariJoe007 Nope, in the end he gets caught and sent to Arkham Asylum.
@moonlightwolf01 agreed. Batman fights crime at night, in the shadows!
@SipahSalar They randomly tweet the topic or post it on google+ and facebook. You hastag #askgamespot
@ksdlass Stop thinking!
@conway4590 Everyone wants Luke Skywalker back as the Joker, that's why.
@megadeth1117 since Mark Hamill is no longer doing the voice of the joker, who is playing him in origins?
@Ovirew In terms of chronology, it's:
1) Arkham Origins
2) Arkham Asylum
3) Arkham City
In terms of release date, it's:
1) Arkham Asylum
2) Arkham City
3) Arkham Origins
@Ovirew theres quite a big difference in gameplay between Asylum and city. Im still not sure if i like city more than asylum. Just because its more open world.
@T-Sub96 I think Kevin Conroy accidentally slipped up and let it be known that there is a next-gen Batman (or Justice League) game in the works and that he will be voicing Batman there too ... the reason why they changed the voice actor for Arkham Origins was because they wanted someone who sounds younger since Batman is intended to be young(er) in that game.
It's the same guy that did, or does Chris Redfield from Resident Evil 5 and six, and perhaps it'd be hard to tell, but he also does Ezio's voice.
@rob316gold2 As said already, Troy Baker. The worst thing about it to me actually is that he already voiced both Two Face/Harvey Dent, and Robin in City. Next thing you know, he'll be doing every voice for every Batman character...
@conway4590 Agreed. I was severely disappointed when I saw Joker in the trailer... I will still be preordering and hoping for the best though...Loved the last two games.
