However given the latest releases in this franchise, and a curiosity with the game (as someone that likes fighting games) I decided to try it again.
And I was really glad I did, while I have only rated this a 7/10 due to a few niggles I will get to in a few minutes, I have found it to be a enjoyable game, and the challenge it gives is an interesting one, especially given the array of fighting styles you are up against means having to change the way you fight with each opponent.
One thing I did find was that there are so many uses of the buttons and combinations that I found it sometimes difficult to press the button I wanted or to remember the correct key to do what I wanted (although admittedly this may be down more to my poor memory than a actual problem). Also on career I found it slower than I'd have liked to get from one match to the next one.
Overall though it is a pretty good game, certainly worth a try if your new to the UFC games and unsure about buying the latest title, or simply want a good fighting game.
