Great idea for a prequel with a lot of intriguing elements. Tomb Raider has always been one of my favorite series. Not so much for the game-play but for the story and puzzles. In my opinion the series has always suffered from mediocre graphics and clunky controls. Thankfully with the great advancements in graphic technologies. This game looks absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately the controls leave a lot to be desired. A unbelievable number of glitchy points on the map, as well as lag in Lara's movements can leave you frustrated. Other than that. The ability to gradually advance Lara's skill and upgrade found equipment is a completely refreshing change of pace. The maps give you a little more freedom to move but are skill fairly linear. The story feels pretty well thought out and leads Lara towards a familiar path. Soo many things to collect. This game is soo close to being a contender. Just smooth out the controls a bit and your in.
