Game had potential, but was ruined with terrible (and cheep) game play and terrible design.

User Rating: 2.5 | The Lord of the Rings: Conquest PC
LOTR: Conquest could have been something amazing, but was ruined by awful game play elements, and bad character design.
This game shouldn't been given the title of a Lord of the Rings game. Right off the start you will notice that the game is a combination between a hack'n'slash and a third person shooter. However, the game is broken! The combo system is extreamly disappointing; once you perform a combo it cannot be blocked by the opponent and will most likely knock him'her to the ground. That may sound like fun, but the enemy can do the same to you and then it gets frustrating in the campaign. To add more disappointment, the campaign is extreamly short, and will take you 3-4 hrs.. to complete it. Then there is absolutely no re-play value.
The second half of the game is the multi player element. Now first thing is: it's no longer there, EA has taken down the servers and you can't play this game on-line any more! While it was up, it lagged and the combo system compleatly broke it too. Never think of buying this awful game! EVER! This is not a LOTR game! Pandemic showed how they can ruin a franchise...

- character design
- Extreamly short
-No re-play value
