The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for the PS2, in a word, SMASHING!

User Rating: 9 | The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction PS2
Okay, we all remember the travesty that was "The Hulk" back when the same-named movie was released back in 2003. But, Radical Entertainment decided to go back to the drawing board, not use a movie for a basis, and let the destruction and rampage run wild in "The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction."

Playing as the big mean, green machine is great. Running around, causing mayhem can be a distraction from whatever mission you are suppose to be doing. Story is pretty solid: Bruce Banner is working against the clock to try and cure himself of dark persona that has manifested within his mind, known as the Devil Hulk. While you're mostly fetching machine parts here and there, you have to fend off the puny military efforts of stopping you. But wait! There's more: another menace threatens your mission. The classic commie from the comics, the anti-Hulk himself: the Abomination.

Gameplay is pretty simple when you simplify it: Hulk smash, Hulk destroy, repeat. But don't add this to the list of button mashers for there is some depth to the amount of combos you can pull off. As you "Hulk Smash!" everything, you earn points that allow you to unlock more crazy moves. Controls are pretty tight, too. The sound excels from crunching cars to grand explosions. Hulk might not talk much, but his actions are always better than words. Computer AI can be tough at times, especially those damn Hulk Busters.

Overall, its a great time of smashing and bashing. 9/10 from me.
