Super Mario RPG is the game for any SquareSoft and/or Nintendo fan to own. Perfection in an role-playing game.
· First off, this is one of the best role-playing games ever to be released by SquareSoft. Although it's not as deep as the Final Fantasy series, it defiantly holds it's own as being a near-perfect role-playing game.
· Great stories come from great characters. The cast in Super Mario RPG is classic. I just wish some of these characters made cameos in the Paper Mario games, since those are the end result of what this game started.
· I usually don't rant about video game music, but the music adds a lot to the game. It's like adding color to a painting.
· The graphics are cool. They're 2D but done well enough to make it look almost truly 3D. Everything is very colorful and what you'd expect from a Mario game.
· The fighting system is great. It's set up just like the Final Fantasy games, which is basically a perfected fighting system in my opinion.
:Bad Idea:
· It's never a good idea to think you can just rush through a game like this. If you think you're going to beat this in a few hours, you're dead wrong.

· If you have a fetish for great games on the Super Nintendo, this is the game to get. It's got a mixture of everything perfect in video games. Great story. Great fighting system. Soothing music. Marvelous graphics. Terrific characters. Awesome ending.
