MAN and I thought Frogger was fun...
Gameplay: 10
The gameplay is simply perfect! I remember when I started playing the first level! Yeah, I died when the first enemey came on screen...BUT, I ENJOYED every moment of it! Then, I tried again died again to! But, I was still enjoying it! Finally, I wondered what would happen if I simply jumped over the enemy! Success! I got away but fell to my death due to a pit. So, I started again this time jumping over the enemey, then jumping over the pit, then reaching another enemey! This time two right next to each other. I jumped clear of the first one! But, didn't quite make it over the second one and fell upon it's head! Boink! The enemey dissappeared! It was gone! Points came floating up saying two hundred! Then, I jumped upon the one that was now scurrying away he dissappeared to! I then grasped the knowledge that to defeat enemies you jump upon their heads. Soon, I began to understand the concept of the question blocks! You jump under them and bonk your head upon them! Mushrooms come out you grab one, then your safe from an enemey. Soon, I started to get so good that I could make it to another question block that would contain a fire flower! I got this flower then I was shooting out fire balls! Soon, I was jumping, shooting, climbing, and doing things that my wildest dreams could never picture of doing! As, can be seen from this description gameplay is top-notch.
Graphics: 7
This is the one thing keeping the game from a perfect score. Those darn graphics! The gameboy color surely didn't have the best graphics. But, it was capable of much better ones then what is seen here. Though, it is basically a direct port. That's no real excuse for Nintendo. They could of surely gone back and redone the graphics. But, the fact of the matter is that they didn't. So, due to their somewhat laziness the graphics is brought down to a 7!
Sound: 10
Sound is perfect. It contains the original tracks from the original Super Mario Bros. That's also really all it needed. Because, the sound that Super Mario Bros. had was wonderful and it's still wonderful today.
Value: 10
The value of the game is perfect. It contains everything thing seen in the orginal game and then some. Everything, has held together perfectly! I never once experienced any lag, crashes, or anything of the sort, everthing really fits together perfectly!

I always love the Mario series because of this game! I think about the Mario series everyday. Mario, is just really a cool likable character. Everything, about the game enchanted me as a kid. From, the encounters with bowsers, to the simple things such as bonking your head against a brick. That's why I'm giving the tilt for this game a 10!
