A disappointment in comparison to the previous 2 Spider-man Activision titles previously released for Playstation 1.

To put it simply, this game tries to hold onto the setup of the original Spiderman game releases by Activision for Playstation 1, simular control setup, swing your way through the city as the main character, kill the baddies along the way etc.

However, unlike its former releases, this game is riddled with camera control issues and has not had the time and effort put into it as the previous titles had... A disappointment for the Spiderman fan looking forward to that ultimate make over / sequel to the PS1 games...

The game is still enjoyable, even if the camera is near intolerable at some points, secrets are hard to find, and give an extra edge (and replayability) to the game play... Swing your way through levels as your spider-senses tingle and lead you along the way to victory.

I would recommend this game to the die-hard Spider-man fan, but certainly not to those who are looking for an ultimate follow up to the classic Playstation 1 Spider-man games.

The gameplay itself is great, and the graphics are excellent for a GameCube title, it's only flaw is that it's let down by that damn camera... The sound in the game is great too! Very fitting...
