A true gem for the Sonic series

This game is definitely worth the purchase. There are many emblems to collect, which are earned by completing missions. Missions vary from being basic and easy to slightly irritating and hard. The voice acting is awful, but that is to be expected from a Sonic game. There are two separate stories, consisting of Hero and Dark. Hero primarily consists of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, while Dark has a newcomer named Shadow (the counterpart of Sonic), Rouge the Bat, and Egg-man. The story is not spectacular but has some awesome moments that I will not describe due to them being spoilers. The main story can be completed rather quickly, but in reality the game is absolutely full of content. You can raise chao in the chao garden (which are the virtual pets of the Sonic world), collect rare emblems, and do multiplayer with friends. I honestly believe that the majority of people who pick up this game and give it a try will enjoy it, Sonic fans or not.
