Ed said it poetically right about the chaos ending --- it is the ending you deserve. Some games "punish" you by making the combat cheatingly hard or whatnot to make you "want" to go the stealth way. Which kinda defeats the purpose of the "do it your wayness" games try to espouse.
Instead they considered the whole point of making choices -- in real life if you may -- the repercussions towards the person and/or his environment , whether big or small. You chose to kill dozens of people -- the effect is that all sorts of shit hit the fan.
Retiring because of "an unexpected point in my life where I no longer have the passion that I once did for the company, for the games, and for the challenge of creation,".... at that age? yeah right. Lets hear the real story please.
Or just tell us EA burned you out. People will accept that answer.
@Kevin-V seriously kevin, this isn't the 80s anymore, were the sad stereotype (ill assume you know what stereotype i speak of: clue they all looked like petit) of girl gamers was actually true.
There are ALOT of women gamers out there who actually like the "male idealized" version of women. The same way alot of women outside of the gaming world strive for a "male idealized" image. And are completely happy for it.
Yes, this is still a male dominant society. But its by no means special to gaming - which is beside the point anyways.
Feminism and video game... pshh. Good luck with that.
the evidence for indoctrination theory is pretty convincing -- all those petitions are a waste of time and money.. The ending, along with the subsequent outrage, was all part of the bioware marketing scheme. After watching the endings again I feel almost silly, having thought for a seconds that, that was actually "it."
