Alright guys I haven't built a lot of desktops but enough to think I know what I need to get by and enough to shift from the PR talk and focus on what is more important when building a desktop.

Either way I know plenty of people are going to be more knowledgeable then me. So here is my build if you can share me your views and if you can point anything out such as concerns if you see any it would be most appreciated. I am pretty sure it is all compatible and that it will all fit but if I am being silly and haven't noticed something please point it out, Also if you think I should swap out one component for something else also please share. This is going to be a AMD build so also please keep that in mind.

Case: Corsair 540D

PSU: Corsair AX1200i

Mobo: Gigabyte 990FX UD7

CPU: 8350

Cooler: Corsair H110

GPU: MSI GTX 780Ti

RAM: AMD Gamer 16GB Dual Channel (C9 1866MHz)

So Sony is just playing on the 1080/60 fps PR band wagon and is failing with games barely reaching 60 fps and not even coming close to 60 fps average and or cant make it past 900p like with BF4 or Watchdogs.

I see two things from this.

1) people don't notice the difference from 720p and 1080p which I for one think I can see the difference.

2) resolution isn't as important as everyone thinks and PC gamers can stop going on and on about how games run at higher resolutions make it so much better then consoles.

It is one of the other...take your pick!

I know I am not the only one that thinks this but the X1 should really be cheaper then the PS4 everywhere as it plays game at a lower quality standard.

Why would I spend £350 on a console that plays games worse then another console that costs £350.

For me that's about as smart as picking up a two for one deal but only deciding you will buy the one.

I think Killzone was the worst of the two games but Halo 4 fell way below my expectations of a Halo game compared to Killzone which hasn't really established it's self as a defining FPS game just a pretty average but insanely pretty one.

Killzone was repetitive in my view but my play through of Halo 4 just got mind numbing as well, everything always seemed to be press a button at the end of the corridor and fight through enemies hit the button and then walk through the door that stood a couple feet away from the button! Never do you walk through a door into a corridor and are like sweet I walk in through the door with the button, then just walk back out!

Also the boss you hardly saw and the boss battle was complete crap.

Halo 4 better then killzone for PS4 but way way way much lower then my expectations of a Halo game compared to my expectations of a Killzone game.

Same as we know the PS4 is weaker to a high end PC but doesn't stop them bring up how it looks and runs better PC. It's just the nature of the human race we are designed to protect and stand up for our views and justify are actions and people who bring this sort of thing up are only doing that to essential make them feel better. It still makes them a bit of a ass.

Good luck with that rumor.

To be honest I don't think that this will be needed most people already know that Titanfall won't be coming on to the PS4. The series though its another matter and most people think that Titanfall 2 will be on both consoles.

Umm...yeah it does!

8GB of DDR3 is a lot slower then 8GB of GDDR5, Microsoft knew that, Sony knew that...everybody knows that.

Microsoft then adds 32Mb of ESRAM to then bring up the bandwidth, as ESRAM is expensive but insanely quick. This then brings the Bandwidth of the consoles physical memory lower but not by much leaving Sony unable to capitalise on it and use it to their advantage as a selling point for their console about how much quicker its bandwidth is over the X1.

The truth of it is still that 32Mb isn't really that much and there isn't a lot of stuff you can logically fill it up with. The new batmobile model takes up 160mb in itself, this then clearly means that 99.9% of the game goes through the much slower 8GB of DDR3 memory where 100% of PS4 games go through the much quicker 8GB of GDDR5 memory.
