@Hotwire246 It's different in America. It's $60 online and in retail. They really need to drop the prices though, especially in Europe, 60 EU? **** that. In America, it's sort of fine since you technically get two copies of the game if you buy from PSN and for the price of one, but it's really screwing Europe.
@Joeguy00 @mezati4 Killzone SF looks to be an amazing SP and MP experience, semi open world with different objectives to accomplish in any order you prefer in any manner you prefer (stealth, guns blazing, etc.), and a unique twist to the story (Berlin Wall in space). It also has an MP that's highly customizable and looks really polished. Sign me up. It's like Far Cry 3 and Halo 3, Killzone 2 (any good online FPS) had a baby.
I know this doesn't directly relate to Titanfall, but I hope more games adopt this style.
Semi-open world with different ways to approach combat > scripted scenes with tons of explosions and crap like that. And give us the ability to fine tune matches the way we want in other games as well.
@XbotSlayer221 If it doesn't sell well while on the X1, EA will definitely bring it to the PS4 to boost sales. They're gonna bring it regardless but if it sells poorly, they'll bring it even faster.
@VooDooJenkins @RicanV @northArrow @XBone4DaWin PS+ gives me free games. I'm gonna keep my PS3 and I just recently bought a Vita meaning I get free games for 3 devices. The perks of PS+ are a lot better than the perks of XBLG.
@DrBomberJack MGS has always had a lot of sexual innuendo or some kind of sexual thing. MGS1, find Meryl by staring at soldier's asses. MGS2, Raiden was androgynous and there were posters of half naked asian girls everywhere and I think you could tranquilize Otacon's sister and drag her around in very sexual ways, and the magazines... MGS3, the two main ladies constantly exposed their boobs, and the magazines... MGS4? The ability to flip through magazines and almost all of the boss fights could end with you taking risque pictures of the ladies who were modeled after real super models, etc.
@Sun-Tzu-GE Did you really just say that? You realize that MGS started on the PS1, right? (MGS as in Metal Gear Solid, not Metal Gear) And David Cage is trying to make video games that are more like movies. Hideo Kojima pioneered video games with cinema style cutscenes, deep narrative, and a good cast of voice actors. Without Kojima, there would be no Heavy Rain.
@enoughofthis @bunchanumbers FFXIII was probably the worst FF game ever with the worst cast of characters ever with the worst story and world/lore ever.
RE5 and 6 weren't Residemt Evil at all, but atleast RE5 was a good and polished game. RE6 had a bunch of useless mechanics and it played horribly, and oddly enough, RE5 actually looked like it had better graphics.
DmC was fine in my opinion, the new Dante was okay, could use some toning down though but the story was fine and the combat was excellent (Directed by Ninja Theory though, not a Japanese studio).
There are still good Japanese games, mostly made by Atlus, but the Japanese games industry has opted for copying what popular western companies do in order to compete. A Capcom suit said that they wanted RE6 to sell COD like numbers, so they made it more action oriented. Square Enix started dabbling their foot inside shooters with very masculine bros who remind me of Marcus Fenix but cleaner and less gruff, etc.
@dmastor @El_Zaggy Pretty sure I got tons of free games from Sony. PS+ gave me about 20. PS+ will still give me a bunch next-gen. Xbox One Day One Edition gets one free game in Europe, all PS4s, day one or not, Europe and all around the world get tons of free games if they have PS+.
