I don't hate DRM too much, but I agree it's definitely annoying and I don't see it to be beneficial. The worst part of this news is, she is trying to turn 'what she thinks is the truth' into 'the truth'. No need to be a rocket scientist or a marketing guru to see that the majority of the gamers is still against DRM.

it largely depends on the game for me. I am naturally a Completionist on games I really, really like, genre doesn't really matter. I did that on Just Cause 2, Heavy Rain, and currently pursuing 100% in Tactics Ogre: LUCT. Speedrunner is reserved for FPS games and games that are mainstream-good but not exactly my type, eg. Mass Effect, XCOM, L.A Noire, Sleeping Dogs. Exterminator is only when killing is actually rewarding, such as in Deus Ex:HR where I needed to squeeze out every possible experience points.

finals are just over for me, will be getting this tomorrow. my 1st Persona game though.sorry for being off-topic a little, but do you guys recommend Zero's Escape as well? I tried the demo, disappointed by the graphics but is the story/gameplay good enough to make up for it?

to think that this game is actually the most expensive Vita game so far with a $49.99 price tag..

I tried the demo, while I agree that graphics aren't everything, VLR's graphics can be rather underwhelming.. I think the textures can be upped a notch or two, considering Vita's capability. But then again, to be fair, perhaps game devs are still tinkering on how much graphics Vita can actually handle -- I've seen how New Little King's Story suffers from poor frame-rate drops. The rest of the game looks excellent though. I like the 'notes' feature the most.

it's launching on Halloween? I was expecting next year's April's Fools.. but then again it might be too cliche.

I went to Thai during the summer holiday. almost everything there (food, taxi fare, hotels) were around 25-30% of what I normally pay in Singapore. but I noticed that gadgets there were priced more or less at the same level with the rest of the world, not just PS Vita.

looks like our warm reception for BF3 has gone abused.. to me it sounds like EA is quick to rest on their laurels. if they think they can run away with poorly-timed & poorly-improved BF4 just as Activision does in-between CoD games, I am ready to prove them wrong. okay, maybe it's just semantics that 'Battlefield' is a sacred name, a 'Battlefield' (without Bad Company or xx42 suffixes) game cannot be released within such a short period of time. but since EA/DICE themselves have set such a high standard of improvement between BF2 and BF3, I think gamers are likely to demand a similar, if not better, jump in quality between BF3 and BF4. assuming BF4 will be released in 2014-2015, I don't think 2-3 years is enough for them to prepare.

Just Cause 2 has a DLC? I was too busy spending 60 hours playing the core campaign trying to hit 100% completion (and having fun in general) to notice that... so for me it's good enough without DLC. I'm not against DLC, but still I prefer the old-school way of 'expansion packs'. doesn't matter if the pack is priced up to 50% of original game price, as long as it provides a good extra chunk that is worth every cent instead of the current business model of tiny-sized DLCs that are too small to bite.

does this game allow multiple ways to kill people like in Hitman: Blood Money? I love H:BM for that, and it'd be nice if Lucius adopts the same system, to break the monotony of killing one person after another..
