@GenomeSoldierDK I agree that I don't generally need to see bios of the actors well I am watching the show there have been countless times when I've jumped onto imdb because there is an actor that I can't quite name or want to know where I recognize him/her from. This sort of app does that legwork for you. I'm more interested in how they can incorporate it into more games. For example the Halo waypoint app allows you to get real time updates of where your squad mates are when playing multiplayer. I believe more of this type of innovation can only strengthen the quality of games in the future and therefore I welcome it.
@banana23man Not absurd at all. There is a reason why xbox is the best selling console worldwide. MSFT has gone to great lengths to expand their customer base and appeal to people who aren't like you and I. And frankly this year's press conference was much more AAA game centric than the last two years of E3
What can I say. I'm just not very excited for the WiiU. Seems like there is a some real innovation here but until I see it used in a practical yet awesome way I'm not sold yet
@MusclesJAM Tigerwoods golf with kinect is pretty decent. And Skyrim kinect intergration is a big bonus. It can be done in a tasteful way. More often than not, it isn't
@menbutts I know you don't want to hear this but there is a casual game revolution happing and there is too much money involved for MSFT to turn their backs on that audience
@ElJefeDeMedios Your opinion, not the mass markets. I already use my xbox for most of my entertainment needs I am extremely pleased they went down this road. Xbox sales seem to support that fact the MSFT is on the right track for now.
