@milsvaard @ShoTTyMcNaDeS As much as I love Titanfall, it too doesn't do anything spectacular or anything really different from any other shooter. Its has a Titan in it, THATS IT. Its still a great game and it is fun. Keyword there fun and addicting. He is way off on his review.
@TacticaI @xscrapzx @rawkstar007 Please, you stop it. I'm not sitting here claiming it is not fun. I'm just saying that it hasn't changed because it hasnt. The only thing that has changed is the graphics. You are doing the same crap you have been doing in it since the first one when you had an over top view. Blow shit up, follow people, go and do this for someone, go and do that for someone, blow more shit up, maybe get a better pad, better cars as your progress, drive atvs, cars, bikes, and blow more shit up, rob people, and blow more shit up. Not saying it is a bad game, but it too is repetitive. But like Destiny it is fun. Its enjoyable going to the different planets and doing the different missions along with the having the ability to do the story. The strike missions are fun as hell, having the ability while doing a mission and all of a sudden a public battle starting out of no where and anyone who is on that map all stop to help and fight. Its a nice hybrid of a game that has features of an MMO and the first person shooter aspect.
@rawkstar007 I just think its a blast, very challenging, and a very beautiful looking game. There are plenty of games out there that have gotten really high scores yet are very repetitive in what they do. There is always going to be some kind of repetitiveness in a game. How is it that GTA gets unbelieveable reviews when it is doing the same freaking thing it has been doing for 15 years? Not only that, the missions are the same crap over and over again?
@thepayno Also, I love Diablo and I'm still playing it, but my point is, as I don't think I was clear originally, is that its just plain ol fun. Destiny is just a fun game.
@thepayno @xscrapzx Not at all, its a really fun game. Tell me how a game like Diablo that does the same thing, where ALL you do is kill things over and over and over again, yet I will say that the story is a lot clearer with Diablo and more fleshed out, other than that being a different type of game, one being a hack and slash, the other first person shooter. It gets a 9? To me thats completely ridiculous.
Although it looks better, as some have said the improvement isn't mind numbing. That's one thing you could say in past gens, is that the graphics department has always been eye popping at some point. Even though there have been some games that have come out since last Fall, I'm kind of underwhelmed, then again it is still early. Don't get me wrong, some of the games that will be coming out look gorgeous, I just feel the leap is not all that big as it has been in the past.
The problem is from the beginning they have been completely unorganized on what they want to do with the XBOX One. They haven't found the identity, and really that is because I feel they rushed it out of the gate just to get it released at the same time as the PS4. I mean it is blatantly obvious just by having some of the features that were on an almost 8 year old console at the time not be available on the predecessor. It also shows how much of a disaster it has been considering the big mouths that were spewing half the crap from the get go where shown the door and are no longer part of Microsoft. With that being said at least the changes they have made have been the ones everyone has wanted. Unfortunately, at the same time a lot of gamers are hardcore crybabies that actually feel as though that these multi billion dollar companies are in a special relationship with them and require a lot more than changes to make them happy. I for one took the resignations (Really the firing) of the CEO and half the people that where part of the entertainment division at Microsoft as the real apology from the big wigs to us fans of their products.
@Nibroc420 @Coren_Larken @rebelformetal Can we stop with this, not one video game currently can do 4k and they aren't right around the corner either. Can we stop with this 4k crap. I don't care if a movie can do it, because I bought a console for gaming. I mean honestly, if you are going to sit here and claim a system is worse because it can't do something that isn't even being done to begin with is a complete fanboy that is just bashing it. I mean they still aren't even broadcasting at 1080p on cable, satellite, or antenna and that resolution has been out for 8+ years now. I'm sure 4k looks great, but for movies on blurays only. Other than that it is completely useless at this juncture.
