@TerrorRizzing: The story is part of the problem, we still don't know what half the shit is and why we are doing any of it. Sure, they improve the cut scenes and made it seem a little more interesting, but overall the game is just destiny 1 with new paint making it look like there is MORE. Its still as wide as an ocean and deep as a puddle with no reason to even want to dip the toe in that shit.

@Mogan: Would be nice if they would just separate the two game modes from each other, but THAT will never happen.

@Xristophoros: Lets even go with the fact that you may not have a 100Mbps connection for internet. I would argue even if you were to cut that in half to lets say 50Mbps. That's still pretty decent. I would say that is probably what you have. With that being said you need to install every game you have. The amount of time it takes to install a game and on top of the patches and updates that it usually will download along with it would probably be taking the same amount of time as you simply downloading it digital rather than buying physical. He wasn't pushing any habits on to anyone other than suggesting why he prefers PCs.

@afromakka: I'm fine with paying more money for extra expansions etc. as long as it is not shallow like what the entire experience of Destiny 1 was.

@spartanx169x: I was gonna say as bad as the beta was in terms of what they gave us to play there was definitely more dialog and story in those first two missions than the whole base game of destiny 1. Forget how the DLC was handle,d at the end of the day the base game and the content that followed aside from TTK (And even that expansion eventually showed Destiny's issues) was so very shallow.

@feenixx7: No I think I got it. I just think it is not a great comparison comparing consoles back in the day that were using their own custom chipset that in many cases were very difficult to develop for. Whereas with this gen of consoles they are all x86.

@feenixx7: Such a terrible example. For all intents of purposes the current gen of consoles are PCs, they have same exact architecture, x86. That is a standard, a standard that everyone knows and understands. Its not even in the realm of what the Atari Jaguar, panasonic 3do or any of the other 30 year old console that you want to bring up to make a horrible point with.

@translucent17: People are praising them because they put a lot of effort and attention to detail in attempt to make a great gaming experience for people who purchase it. They also are trying to be innovative with the cooling and as well as the tech that is being shoved in a small box. That's why they are getting praised and deservedly so. The tech industry doesn't wait for anyone and on top of it they are at least putting some effort in it, whereas the common theme has been of late to do the minimal and bait people, like what Apple and Samsung do.
