@chimpdaddy @emacdaddy08 Agreed. This is the point I was trying to get across, with less success at my own choice of words.

We have a fixed monthly income. That's that.

@emacdaddy08 More money to them or less money. It doesn't matter. Unless I get a promotion, I'm not going to get additional benefits. I'm more likely to get laid off during merges with EA rather than get extra money from the dissolution of this "used game market" that DRM advocates seem intent on squashing.

@emacdaddy08 I'm a video game animator. I work in this industry.Whatever happens here, I don't really win anything. The PRODUCERS win something. Coz' you know, they're the ones with the royalty and copyright and all that.

You should clarify yourself when referring to the "DEVS." Who are they exactly? the average working class citizen with a fixed monthly income? or the suits that run the machine and reap all the cash?

@simonbelmont2 I'm wondering if they're rich enough that they can afford to experiment so boldly on their products like this?

A big part of the appeal of TES games to me is the modding community. Play the game, go in with the CK, and then start mucking around the files. It's like LBP, where you can start to create your own content to keep you coming back for more. I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but to those of us who like it, it's definitely a boon. And I suppose it's gonna be sorely missed in this online incarnation of TES.
