Honestly this game multiplayer is good, but only good if you are used to the old halos. I do not think any newbie would pick up this game and like it soon as you play. This is a game that old school halo players will be fine with. New players will struggle with the mechanics of this game or don’t want to learn the mechanics of the game. The maps leave much to be desired but overall it’s a good game.

Well.... I’m not opposed to remasters, director’s cuts, or whatever. I have yet to buy any because I usually buy the original version of the games. As far as people being upset with these, Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft can see the numbers and what games sells and what don’t sell. I do feel like Sony takes the most risks out of the 3 with the high budget new ip releases, however there will be a time that even those will shrink. As far as any updated games, going through PS1 and PS2 catalog would be really great IMO. Some of those games I wouldn’t mind playing a remakes/director’s cut/whatever of those.

Have you all not figured it out yet? Microsoft ultimate goal is only Gamepass which does exactly what Microsoft wants: to dominate with game subscription/streaming services instead. If they succeed, you probably won’t own many games in the future again. Prices will go up eventually as well once competitors join in. The hardware thing won’t matter as much once this is installed. The goal is clear. The more people join and build a library of games they like, the more likely you will stay being subbed. Im thinking should be able to take it with you via other consoles, phones, etc. But console gaming is in a fight right now. It’s the old way (Sony and Nintendo) vs the new way (Microsoft). The question is who wins and who loses? We as gamers could lose the ability of owning games. But we could win because we will always have games to play. We could lose because subscriptions prices will go up. Stores lose because of gamepass. Devs could lose as well. We just don’t know how things will play out right now.

What’s in it for us? This is literally about which company will become a monopoly. Every single company in this fight can do the same as Epic. Once the smoke clears, now what?

@BeefoTheBold: they also conveniently only show 9 Super Bowl games when the article clearly says they will look at the last 10 years. Showing the 9 games puts them at around 56%....

Ehhh, nothing to see here for either system until supply gets more plentiful for both consoles. Both consoles are experiencing artificial buying along with natural buying right now.

@restatbonfire: I never said it wasn’t value in gamepass as of right now. We are talking in the long term. There will be a point where Microsoft will need to eventually break even, make a profit, or let it go.

Microsoft was testing the waters. The cost will eventually go up, just not yet. The business model was always unsustainable, but they betted on people picking up Xbox series S in butt loads. They wanted those all digital systems out there to have them playing games via Gamepass. Now that Microsoft see the numbers, they need more customers on Gamepass, so they can eventually raise prices on that as well. In my opinion, Microsoft is literally trying to become the Netflix of games.

Tell me how this company releases a game that only works well with Nvidia graphics cards when the majority of gamers uses Amd tech ( all current /next gen game consoles, and pc rigs) . It was a silly costly mistake on their part.

@walbo: I will never think irrationally and act like gamepass prices will not go up. The price will increase, the question is when?
