With the rampant shortages with trying to get a next gen system, I finally got a hold of one. I wanted a PS5 but ended up with a Series X. I’m having second thoughts about my purchase. Full disclosure. I’m a PlayStation guy first and used to have all the systems. The last Xbox I had was a 360. I also have a capable gaming pc as well. I guess I’m asking is Gamepass worth it? What else am i looking forward to if I decide to keep it? Should I keep both when I do get a PS5?

The conference wasn’t good. I just think we just gonna have to wait and see how everything goes at this point. I honestly think these companies are fully invested in the cloud moreso than anything.

I honestly think this machine will be more cloud based than anything. They kept talking about integration and faster load times.

I like that Microsoft stepped up with the hardware but they totally forgot about the games. Maybe Microsoft will invest money into gaming studios next gen to go along with some good hardware. The Forza/Halo combo Has failed them this generation.

I honestly don't think that none of these companies will have their main system sold at a loss anymore. I think the two system approach with the latter having the updated CPU / GPU is here to stay.

I would believe MS wanted to take over if it was a more important part to their business. I don't believe gaming is the future for them. It all depends on how much money they can make from it, and this part of the business doesn't make enough for them to go all in. Just be grateful that Sony did win this gen otherwise you wouldn't of seen any hardware advances like this from Microsoft. They tried to be profitable out the gate and gave us the original bullshit OG Xbox One with required Kinect with an underpowered GPU and DDR3. That wasn't even right and you know it.

you have to understand, so many cheaters on black ops right now... i wont be surprised if everyone stats will be wiped soon.

The 360 is a great console (not my favorite IMO) but MS is really doing all the things that make it bad. They hold hyped games for ransom, they charge for a service with adds, they force DLC and themes to be at a premium price. Its horrible! Personally, I 100% agree this, its wrong what M$ is doing and to make things worse they're succeeding!gamefan274

advertising is the reason why these games didnt do as well.... they dont throw a 1 billion dollars at advertising like microsoft did with Halo
