I was wondering how well these work as I'm thinking of buying one. I've seen them starting for as low as 99 cents on eBay, but the earpiece looks somewhat awkward. Do they stay on well and are they comfortable?

I recently experienced something similar to the problem you're having. I bought a used game online, and when I put the game into my system my screen froze, then went black, and my PS3 automatically turned off. I restarted my system and tried the game again, and the game's main page split into four screens (very odd). It seems to work okay now, but I'm wondering if this is normal? My PS3 is only a week old!

I just started playing Oblivion for the first time today too, and so far I'm just finding it so-so. I agree with you that it seems somewhat outdated. It reminds me of older PC games. I'm willing to give it more of a chance, though. Some RPG's take time to grow on you and since the ratings for this game are good, I'm assuming it gets better further into the game.

I just tried Playstation Home for the 1st time last night, and it reminds me of Second Life. I really enjoyed it, although I can never see myself spending money on virtual items. I was somewhat disappointed to see how much money Sony is asking for from players for these items...One of the costumes was $14.99. Enough said. -_-

I was surprised at how fun and well thought out this game was too. I thought I would give the demo a try since it was a free download, and to my surprise there was online play on the demo! How exciting! I tried it out and now I'm seriously contemplating buying the full version.

Are the Playstation Store game sales sporadic and rare or do the sales occur frequently? I'm wondering as I just bought a PS3, and there are several games I'm wanting to download but I would rather get them for half the price. If they come like twice a year, I figure I might as well download them now and start playing. Also, what are some exclusive downloads from the Playstation store that you would recommend?

So I've finally decided to buy a PS3 around the holidays to take advantange of the bundles they typically have out, but after hearing of the 250GB model, I'm unsure of which to buy. Although only $50 more for 130GB more of space seems rather tempting, would I really even need that much space? Will the expected holiday bundles also include the 120GB model or just the 250GB?

Thanks for the great opinions and insight! It sounds like the 360 is currently a better option for RPG players, but...I would hate to invest in a 360 just to turn around and have another Everquest come out for the PS3. It's all speculative, and it may never happen but I long for that day! Heh
