I'm a Nintendo fanboy but I think he is pretty funny.

Some people prefer thumbstick, some prefer a mouse. It depends on the person. How does such a dull topic have 19 pages of arguing and banter?

I prefer playing shooters with a controller in my hands. I couldn't play a PC shooter to save my life and I find that a computer mouse is just too awkward - a thumbstick is much more manageable for me. In fact, the only PC games I really play are the Age of Empires series and solitaire :) .

A large amount of wii owners, as everyone knows, are indeed little kids and casual players who see games like Just Dance and have no idea how terrible they are. I love my wii and havenumerous superb games for it, but I admit that there are a ton of wii owners who have no idea of what good games really are. Sadly, they will continue to shame the platform and give the wii a bad name.

Exactly. I am probably getting a larger tv for christmas and of course it will be HD. I only have a wii, so it won't take advantage of HD support, but the picture will definitely look bigger and better, especially if I pick up component cables.

Pikmin 3 - nintendo needs to stop milking the zelda and mario franchises as much. we already have twilight princess.

Honestly, hardcore isn't a term that I would relate to videogames.

Sitting in front of a screen and pressing buttons is not really my idea of hardcore.

Say whatever you like about the wii and ds, but they are popular because Nintendo is still the king of first party games.

I own tiger woods, and I am going to pick up wii sports. I highly enjoy tiger woods and don't regret buying it, however, if you aren't into golf, the game won't change your mind. Wii sports is probably more accessible, but if you are a golf fan and have friends that want to play, get Tiger Woods for sure.
