I gotta feeling your trolling.... Alan Wake looks amazing... Cows will never admit it... At its best is up there with UC2... Its just kinda inconsistent... The whole foliage arguement is stupid considering KZ3 is set on a destroyed world.... Regardless KZ3 looks super sweet can wait for it...
Personally I think harddrives are more important for data cache than installs.... I think MS was stupid for having a hard drive less SKU... It at the very least should have had 2gigs so all games could take advantage of data cache.... Sony on the other hand installs of the games dont seem to help load times.... Installing on the x360 atleast is a true install and allows the game too fully load the game from the hard drive soo the disk doesnt have to spin and cause unnessecary wear and tire... Installs on the Ps3 on the other from what I see copy data that is used frequently in the game to the drive for slightly faster access....
I desperately want new reach maps... and currently have 1800pts sitting around.... but im refusing to buy it out of principle. Map packs are always such a massive ripoff.

Being that the maps that came with the game arent great these are a relief.... Ive bought every map pack every released since halo 2... And this is def without a doubt one my favs... Tempest is now one of my favorite maps from any mp game...
This generation is different people... Consoles this gen with the exception of the Wii were considerably more expensive to make than last gen.... Not mention the Ps3 only came out as a response to the 360.... If Sony could they would have waited a year for the components of Ps3 too be cheaper to make... You think they wanted too release a $600 console... Sony is just starting to recoup the billions they have already spent on the Ps3.... They neither want or can afford to release a new console... Factor in the billions in R/D and PR for the new motion control devices were not seeing anything anytime soon... Logically if anything was coming out within the next yr or two they would have waited to incorporate motion controls to there new consoles... Ps3 and 360 are in there stride right now... Both are profitable and if you knew anything about development of games and the hardware in these systems there is more than enough life in the them for another 3yrs and that goes double for the Ps3... Unlike the ever changing PC market the consoles hardware is the same... And developers will continue to take better and better advantage of the hardware... Just look at launch titles to current titles.... We wont be seeing anything till at least 2013.... Both motion control devices will have had 3yrs on the market....
