[QUOTE="GodLovesDead"][QUOTE="sSubZerOo"]

[QUOTE="BobSacamento"]will it be direct x 10?capthavic

Why in the world would they make it DX10? There is no advantage what so ever, infact they would alienate quite a few people.

Joke is on you, it will be DX10.

Doubt it. DX10 is Vista only (something few people have) and they will want to make it available to as many people as possible.

I agree. This definitely won't be a Microsoft game for Vista...

One thing is sure, the system requirements of SC2 will definitely be low compared to any other RTS. If you look at the screenshots you can already see that there is nothing graphically spectacular on them. My guess is that they want to make SC2 the "World of Warcraft" of RTS... So, they want to lure as many people as possible to the world of StarCraft and that means that the game will look and work fine even on low-end or budget systems...

I guess the game won't be in a DX10 version. Why? Well, I've read that they will be using ShaderModel 2.0 for the graphics, so if they aren't planing to use SM 3.0, why would they use DX10...

So I'm Guessing No1 suspects the gradual decline of the market is an effect of Piracy....(first post)Projekt_Enigma

If you have a PC, you can copy PlayStation games (for example) just as easily... So I don't think that is the main reason for the decline. I think one of the main problems with PC gaming is the system requirements thing... When you have an Xbox, you buy Xbox games and you play them, if you have a PS you buy PS games and you play... But if you have a PC it's not as simple as that. You have to check out if your CPU can handle the game, than check out if you have enough RAM, than look at the GPU requirements... and you get pissed off when one of these things is not good enough. Also, console games can be ran much more easily (no installing...)...

Well, if this trend becomes real we can expect, that most PC games will be transfered from consoles. There will be much less games exclusively developed for PCs... I'm not sure how will people play RTS games on consoles, for example. Is there a mouse or something like that for consoles? I just can't imagine RTS without a mouse. The same goes for FPS games. Just today I tried Call of Duty 3 on my friends PS2. I'm a veteran in gaming. I played lots of first person shooters... I played CoD3 on the PS2 like my grandma... :D I was totally lost with that controler. I just don't know how to play without a mouse and a keyboard.

Alot of people like music, and gaming. But its hard to enjoy both while gaming...You can't select a different song when your holding down a node right? And do you really want to be running Itunes when your computer is glowing red hot from running Crysis? Well I've been thinking of a product where its an MP3 holding all your songs, but it also attaches to your speaker so you can listen to both your game and your music at the same time. Sound like a good idea?whoowhoo

I usually play games where the music is part of the ambient, so I don't need any other music during the game... If the game is really good the music gives a positive contribution to the whole experience.

Telling your feeling about this game will be appreciated

Well, it looks like a school project... I'm not saying I could do better or the same, but I saw lots of football games and this one looks like a concept compared to them. If you want to make it a game where you control only one player, I suggest you make it an indoor football game, because in regular soccer the field is too large to make the game playable, realistic and enjoyable from the viewpoint of a single player... Anyway, I say the genre (one-person soccer) is like a baby born dead... It's no wonder no one ever atempted anything like it. It has no perspective... But if you made this game and you improve your game making skills, you may have a perspective in the gaming industry...
