Faith and Begorrah now why would an Irishman confuse a flute with a mouth organ? As wind instruments, they are opposites. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aerophone
The executions toward the end of the game are truly heinous. I made a point to do it steadily through the game to see it evolve, and by the final levels, particularly after getting the full-auto shotgun, it was almost too much to handle. On top of which, North's performance as a full-on homicidal lunatic who now WANTS to feed each of these men a bullet.
A good example of not being desensitized by video games, I think. I have chainsawed me some locust in my day, but watching these NPCs with actual human soldier faces summarily lose their faces as I chose to let Walker become the monster still made me queasy.
@Saxondale Nope. See it's the exact opposite for me. I will not even read the text in WoW, but I will listen to nearly every NPC in TOR. Hearing the actual context for a goal spoken aloud is... well it's what we see in KOTOR and other single player games.
Why did I have to fetch this datalog? Oh, it's a missing boy, he's been kidnapped, and his captors are sentient force-sensitive "animals" that want to join the Jedi order and be treated with respect.
Blowing through all that with a few scrolls and clicks is the difference between playing a MMO and following a story.
@Scarab83 I would be playing it free right now, except their Level 15 cap doesn't apply to former subscribers. I'll make some more alts to continue with someday, but I don't want a whole separate account.
@kenjing1 Your winking here is pretty morbid. Digital delivery games rarely come with instruction manuals, particularly in a PC cafe. And very few "loading screen advice" comments bother to mention taking a break. I have seen a couple, but some players complain of being lectured.
