You're dumb. Valve just keeps the servers turned on. They don't control Steam with an iron first, and it wouldn't make any sense for Valve to "pay him" for this because it's not a closed platform. It's not console. Valve literally just has a publisher portal web page that publishers log in to to set the prices for their catalogues, set up the store page, etc. Valve doesn't "offer" any games except for HL, Portal, DoD, CS, and L4D, and associated mods. They offer a marketplace.

Valve takes a cut of the profit, but you aren't buying anything from Valve unless it's a game made by Valve.

So yes, the dude is doing it out of his own pocket, precisely to say he played them all. Even if he wasn't, it wouldn't be Valve paying him because once again, they don't have the authority to pay someone to play another publisher's games.

Of games that you already own. Actually there are some decents, cities skyline deluxe is 15 and submerged 10. I bought trine 3 and accidentally bought a second copy of wh40k kill team.

This guy. Dumb enough to have 1400 games on Steam, not smart enough to simply add the games he wishes were on Steam into his library. Literally all of those games are on PC, just not on Steam. Except MGS3, and the Chrono games.

@Bilal100: Impossible, no. It takes less time to beat a game than for a game to be made. Inadvisable for certain. It's a pretty stupid undertaking because like you said, even if you do beat 8000 games, another 2000 are going to come out anyway. Most of them indie stuff that's all very similar. Like 96 bullet hell games. He'd do better with a realistic goal like "I'm gonna beat every RPG on steam" or something.
