@lostn: In the Giantbomb interview he said the game Platinum was making just wasn't satisfying anyone. (Even Platinum themselves) Frankly you can tell as much if you actually take a look at the existing Scalebound footage. Platinum clearly had no idea what they were doing and it was just a huge money trap for MS. His comment was poorly worded, no doubt about that, but like the other guy said they were pretty much setting up their own version of Last Guardian at that point. I love Kamiya and had high hopes for the game, and I'd love to see them try it again someday, but canceling it was the right call sadly.
@Dudeman315: Yeah, I don't think that's true. Rocket League and Fortnite don't run on Microsoft's servers and they're both open to crossplay between Switch and Xbox. (With devs saying PS4 is as easy as flipping a switch)
@Blk_Mage_Ctype: Two borrowed indie games per month and access to a service that seemingly has outages every other week for 60 bucks a year. It's a steal!
You get a "free" $60 game and all you have to do is be lucky enough to find one of these cards and pay over $200 more than their initial msrp to get it. Nice.
