if it isnt galaxy im just going to explode. thats my opinion :P . a new halo iteration, while great, was pretty similar to the other two. orange box better not even be nominated. its not a game. mass effect has a good shot though. i think AC will be a little too... i dont know, obscure to get a goty. I only played the demo of Sega Rally Revolution, but I it seems to be a very faithful sequel. The downside of that is that alot has gone on in the racing genre in general and the arcade subgenre in particular since a Sega Rally game last hit though. I have no problem with faithful sequels in general but Sega Rally didn't give me the thrill of old, so I will pass.CarnageHeart

That's the problem, the racing genre has made advancements and Sega Rally Revo feels like a relic. There are so many racing "no no's" within the gameplay and structure...the 1-p is a repetitive menu set-up with repeating tracks, the AI is poor, the enviornments are barred by phantom walls, the vehicles aren't diverse in any way, the tracks are cliched and monotonous and the difficulty is mostly manufactured with handicaps.

After Outrun 2 and F-zero GX it seems like if there is one thing Sega can't mess up in, it's updating old racers. But this game is a joke, it doesn't even hold a candle to Xbox racers like Rallisport Challenge. It's basically Ridge Racer on dirt, yes sometimes the track deformations are nice but this game doesn't feel like it should have the word Rally in it at all.

They have to be joking, at least I hope they are. Honestly with the "next-gen" Hitman and Tomb Raider's announced, they already made their choice. I hope the game bombs because it should of been ready back when the PS2 version was released.

ICO for a few reasons IMO. It's more intelligently designed, it's story is cryptic in a good way(unlike Shadow's which is just filled with holes)...it just felt more complete to me. Shadow is more or less an extended boss rush artificially extented by incoherent traveling...nevermind the game is linear to the tooth, which is not acceptable with an enviornement that large.

Sounds solid, but my budget for games this month is locked up with Galaxy and Mass Effect. The concern I have from the early reviews is that the game still can't match up to 1 or 2. Again the game sounds competent enough but the series isn't peaking like it should.

It's not that bad, TC. (at least where I live) You will line up in front of the judge, who will say what you did, you'll offer to say whether you were guilty/not guilty, and just say guilty BTW. Then you'll go to the front office to pay your fine, or have it sent by mail. The $1000 is probably for repeated offenses, so don't sweat about thatOPRFWrestler112

Uh no. That's a mistake that could costs hundreds, if not thousands, in insurance raises.
