Ok!! It's the industries fault that this unsustainable cycle of expensive ass shooters is the norm. And will ultimately be the whole gaming industries repeat of the 1984 crash, if they don't right this ship, by innovating and using a bit of imagination game mechanic wise.
Isn't it funny how this medium has literally limitless possibilities as far as content and subject matter and just the sheer multitude of things that games allow you to do, and become, but instead we are stuck in world war whatever shooting shit or in space shooting shit. Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!.........Remember Oddworld, remember parasite eve, remember Battletoads, Baldurs gate, hours of fun and each of them different.
People don't change sometimes until you make them. And a beautiful next gen side scrolling Oddworld game with great new physics puzzles would be a good start.

@shingui5 @xxYetterxx People should really carefully examine what they're saying sometimes, and think rationally. The kinect is an integral part of the system this gen, that costs as much to manufacture as the XB1. They have a responsibility to make SURE that investment is taken advantage of by devs and can give the consumer a full experience.

Back when I was on my intellivison and collecovision I dreamt of the days when consoles could do what the XB1 can do. And hearin these cum stains complain about gettin more in a box is mind numbing.
I have the Oc Rift dev kit... And let me tell ya.. the tech demo "Alone in the Rift. " Is... Shit... inducingly... Scary! The bloody girl appearing in stereoscopic VR3D in front of your face is horrific. And girly sounds will come out of you.
And playing half life 2, being chased by the combine guards, and being able to literally look over your shoulder and see them gaining on you in 3D with that wide FOV is sublime and creepy as hell.
EVERY FPS will seem like a gimmick when you try this shit....this is true first person gaming.
The true renaissance of gaming is Kinect 2.0 and the Oculus Rift!!!!!!!!!
Looking down, seeing and controlling your in game avatar will shatter the fragile psyche of every fanboy on both sides of any console debate. Let me tell ya sum'em....when you're playing Half Life 2 in VR..you will wonder why they call an FPS...an FPS!
Because the Rift is real immersive First person gaming. I looked over my shoulder to see where the stupid combine guard was.....And the fucker was right in front of my face in stereoscopic 3D. I literally lurched with real fear. Its amazing.

@McGuirex3 @tretre32 Its very simple. The absolutely irrational, insatiable appetite of the FPS fanatic. If nothing else, Call of duties sales should have given you some inclination of that. And since one of the founders of infinity ward,(creators of Call of Duty), Formed Respawn(creators of Titanfall). The logical inference would be that FPS fanatics would follow their favorite game creators. Resulting in Titanfall damn near shutting down said internets and breaking sales records.Time will tell..But the logical flow dictates that it will.......whhhheeewwww!
