Yeah, I got slaughtered 3 times running, went back to a save before the castle (thank goodness for that), picked up Nu Khai armbands, leveled up everyone in the party enough to get Holy, then blasted away on him. Holy is like the nuclear weapon of that game, It works really well on most all of the bosses. Especially with Excalibur equipped, so if they use magick counter you absorb it.

Back in 1993, when Doom first came out, I was the first person in my dorm to get 100% of the secrets and second to finish (shareware, not all 4 episodes).

more recently, on Final Fantasy XII, I completed the Trickster hunt with an avg. char. level of 25 (gotta love the drain spell).

also, beating Belias the Gigas on Final Fantasy Tactics in four shots (gotta love the Holy spell, too).

In ten years of using playstation controllers, I have worn out 1 (only 1) analog stick from playing, I can still use it, it just doesn't re-center itself anymore. That's all on me for playing too much (as if there is such a thing). I've nver had an issue with button placement for the playstations. I don't know what you are doing, but if you're breaking triggers, you may want to find another hobby or be a bit more careful with your stuff..

I have complete faith in Hideo Kojima. All of the Metal Gear games have exceeded my expectations. The article reminded me of interviews I saw with George Lucas after they had finished Phantom Menace talking about how he felt that he had "held back" on the creative vision. Both men appreciate their craft and only want to make it better, both keep exceeding my expectations. I have no doubt that MGS4 will be a masterpiece, and that my jaw will be on the floor at some point during the game, so I am not too worried about whether he is satisfied or not, I know I will be.

I liked all three, but Patapon is (very narrowly) my favorite over Crisis Core and God of War.

I am going to go out on a limb and say that Patapon should narrowly win over FFVII:CC and GoW at this point. It is IMHO the most original title I've played in the last 3 years, and it's uniqueness goes a long way for me. Yes, God of War kicks butt. Yes, Final Fantasy brings a new chapter to a beloved story, but Patapon has held my interest over both so far. I know we have a long way to go, but unless Polyphony magically gets GT mobile produced or the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep gets released before Christmas, I don't see anything on the horizon that could keep GOTY from one of the "Big Three".

Big=bad??? I have a 61" DLP. No problems yet. Looks very nice, just had to turn the sharpness down a tad because the TV upscales everything to 1080P.
