I have held an X-box controller once at a store. Just didn't feel right after years of dualshock.

My controller evolution goes from the Atari 2600 1 button, to the NES, then the NES turbo-pad (loved those turbo buttons), The gravis gamepad for PC, the Gravis Phoenix (48 button programmable), a microsoft Sidewinder (because Windows 95 didn't like the Phoenix), the original PS1 controller, Dualshock 1, Dualshock 2, and just 3 days ago, the Wiimote. So far I loved the Gravis Phoenix for flight/space combat sims, but the dualshock is great for all around play.

I always really liked the ending to the original Sam and Max Hit the Road. Hilarious. can't really think of a worst.

The most ridiculous arguments are pretty much all of the above. IF you're having fun with what you are playing, why worry about everyone else's gaming habits? There are great, challenging, and fun titles out there on every platform. It's games, not war. Play nice. :)

I'm excited about the (possible) release of GT4 mobile. apparently its on hold while they work on GT5, but if they do (finally) get it done, I am hoping for strong online. Also really looking forward to Kingdom Hearts.

For a strategy RPG, story is king to me. For an action RPG, gameplay is just above story. Great graphics are a nice-to-have, but secondary for me.

I think without some type of "full motion" control (think Wii but like the suits they use for motion capture), total realism (or close to it) will always be out of grasp as far as most sports.

The slim has twice the memory (64MB vs. 32MB)=less load times. Also has video output to TV instead of IR port. its slimmer, the buttons are raised up just a bit for better control. Slim probably a better investment.

Both. at work and at home. I'm just lucky my job has downtime.
