i dont have a xbox360. but as long as the frame-rate was ultra-high i would be satisfied for a multiplayer experience. its not INCREDIBLE looking though....the graphics in old half-life 2 episode one/lost coast look better at just 1600x1200 with 16xAF/16xQ on my 8800GTX. im sure it looks more impressive in motion. ill probably buy an x360 when its cheap enough. then ill need a ps3 when games like Gran Turismo and Metal Gear start coming out , or i have to finally break down and get one to play them..so i root for both systems in a way (even though deep down i know the ps3 will probably be my main console in the future, just like my psx and ps2 were.....)

its not a d10 game really, but the high res graphics look sharp and i bet the framerate is nice and zippy, but really half-life 2 episode 1 etc, look better so i dont know...whenever i get vista ill probably get it....as of now im in no rush to get vista even though i got a d10 card and everything...halo 2 alone wont convince me to get vista any sooner......in reality they could have just released it for xp.......evil satanic, baby eating industry peace out and i didnt read any other posts cause some of you people are craaaaaazzzyyyy...im sure this has brewed some quality bickering.....

all i want from Dx10/Vista is the ability to play great looking games with AWESOME PERFORMANCE and FPS. The shading/blur/shadow/lighting effects aside...i want to see games run at locked 85fps' (v-sync) ALL the TIME....maybe i should keep dreaming...or will my dreams come true?.....only time will tell..

75 percent of comments im reading are either repeats of previous comments are just plain retarded. And i still think its f'in PATHETIC that no g-card setup can run oblivion at a solid 60+fps ALL the time.....my dual (now considered ancient) bfg 7800 gtx's can run oblivion at 1600x1200, max and average(at least) 47 fps (over the course of all areas)..2 7900gtx's or ati's x1900xtxtxopp whatever should be able to run it LOCKED at 60 and above....guess what they cant. I mean who wants to play Oblivion at 28 fps? Thats a f'in slide show to me....... wait for vista and dx10....dont even waste yor money on these end of the line dx9 cards.....

i think this game runs great but....i cant believe people can play a first person shooter at 35 fps and say its awesome. I play it at 1024 with no glow so i can get a constant 60fps with V-sync. I dont even like playing Oblivion because of the frame rate dipping into the 35-40 fps at some spots in the game no matter how you tweak the graphics.
