"not that different but all the images from PS3 are darker than 360 ones." I thought that too mehfuz - the PS3s blacks seemed much deeper than the 360s.... can't decide if it's a good or a bad thing, but it's definitely noticeable.
I've been watching this article closely since this morning and the fanboys just make me laugh so hard(!) (!) Face it - this article was designed to invite this war of words.... I'm sure the GS editors are sat chuckling away at some of the absolute GASH people write to defend their beloved console!! And the funny thing is - all of us normal people who enjoy all the platforms are the real winners. No matter how good you think you're one and only console is and how much you hate the others - bottom line is you're still missing out! HA! (losers!) Any unbiased person with eyes can see that in the majority of examples of the above games, the 360 looks better. That doesn't mean the PS3 won't catch up, I'm sure it will. But at the end of the day - does it actually affect the gameplay? No. But it does make for some pretty funny fanboy comments.... aaaah ignorance..... so amusing to read. You know that every fanboy is the kind of person you couldn't even shake violently to get a sensible answer. And yet, the comments just get funnier and funnier. This is turning into my favourite read so far today!
exactly L0s3rx - as soon as any sort of victory happens on the 360 side, you get the fanboys crawling out the woodwork waving their PS symbol flags and refusing to accept a fair test. I love both my 360 and PS3 and wouldn't let go of either one, but I have to admit, in all the comparisons I've seen so far, the 360 seems to still win hands down. I think the PS3 will catch up soon though
Nice comparisons - I am surprised at how much better the 360 seems to be in terms of jaggies.... that said in my opinion, the 3rd and 4th pics show that the PS3's distant items look a little better.... the closer objects show jaggies compared to the 360 but I do think the shadow and depth of colour in the distant objects looks better on the PS3 in those two pics. Of the first two pics, there's no comparison though, the 360 wins hands down. I think it will be another 12 months before they get the PS3 working as smoothly as the 360
Beatles have never interested me, but I do enjoy The Kinks... still though, good news for the fans. I just hope for the fans sake it doesn't turn into a massively screwed up opportunity at the expense of making it a cash-cow
If Japan doesn't want to get over itself and buy a decent console, then so be it - their loss. Those that truly appreciate games will still buy all the consoles, including the 360 and those with their weird western grudge will never budge. screw them - they're the ones missing out. I like all 3 consoles, but my favourite is easily the 360 - if for nothing else but it's Live platform which makes the others online service look laughable. That said, my family as a whole likes the Wii most, but they don't play games as often as me, so I like to think they don't know what they're talking about *lol*
I've been meaning to get a PSP again and it looks like the combination of a lower price and OK improvements could convince me.... I'm still not sure how comfortable those shoulder buttons are though.... 2 re-designs and still they have the buttons in the same places? I remember my PSP-1000 making my index fingers hurt when using the shoulder buttons a lot... Now, the DS re-design was a significant improvement, but the PSP has barely evolved at all which is a shame
