@PredatorRules:

Wouldn't you argue though that 16GB of ram is more then enough? and What's so special about an SSD?

Found one with a bigger screen

Would something like this be better then my current then?

Depends, the 15' model comes with 240Gb SSD and 32Gb RAM as trade off to the screen size.

17' model got 120Gb SSD and 16Gb RAM - not bad but the more future proofed is the 15' one, for the long 5 years term.

My mom has a 15" screen laptop and it just looks small to me in comparison to my current 17" inch one... Which one would you get personally?

I'm probably gonna get a laptop similar to this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834154290

That's within Price point. I got a newegg Credit card with about 2500$ limit on it, for the purpose of buying a new laptop.

I got another question. Should i wait a few months to see if the prices will drop? Or are these gonna be the laptops for the same price point for a few years to come? Because i don't want to wait a few months and then Nvidia announces new GTX 1280's or somthing lol

Okay, my situation, this current laptop i have is kinda failing me right now, i've had it for a few years, but gaming has caught up and i'm struggling to play new games. Warhammer Total War i couldn't even get stable frame-rate on the lowest settings.

And not just that, but the HDD is failing on this one and i've had to wipe it twice in one month. So overall, it's kinda past it's prime now for playing games.

I'm interested in buying a new laptop for gaming. And i've been looking at the specs of the new series of Graphics cards compared to mine. MY computer specs are.

  • Intel Core i7-4700HQ 2.4Ghz (Turbo 3.4 GHz)
  • 12 GB DDR3
  • 1 TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
  • GeForce GTX 860M 2GB

Suppose those would be the core specs. How does the GTX 1070 fair? i've heard its more affordable then the 1080GTX, But performance wise is it much better then my current one?

Thanks

I emailed them asking about the game and if it would be dubbed. Well, i got a reply back, but it's not looking too good.

Hi,

Thanks for writing in! At this time, we do not have any news regarding the new Berserk game. We mainly deal with translating and localizing anime and manga from Japan, so we do not know whether or not the Berserk game will get localized for the US. If/when we have any information regarding this game, our social media sites will be a great place to find the news:

https://www.facebook.com/OfficialVIZMedia/

https://twitter.com/VIZMedia

Usually, the game developers will consult with the company handing the anime for the dubbing.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any other questions, I will be happy to help out.

Have a great day,

-Cyrus @ VIZ Media
