@GamerCents I'm a woman(not that it even matters haha) and I play games with a variety of protags. Female or male. I empathize for them because they are simply human.
I don't think people should be generalizing the mindset of the two genders. I mean, there are women with masculine personas, and men with feminine personas. Gender doesn't matter, it's someone's PERSONA that matters.
@dark_harpy Well, I can identify with anyone(they need to have an awesome persona though!). Man or woman. I mean, I don't identify because of gender, I identify with them because they're HUMAN BEINGS.
Honestly, put gender aside, and just see if a character has a good, well-written persona. If that character has a great persona, which just happens to be embodying a female body(or male body) then that's great! I don't understand why some people are put off just because they don't like what's in between the characters legs. Jesus, that's just ridiculous as crap!
When I was on Twitter and Gamespot posted this, I SERIOUSLY thought that they were going to add multiplayer to Beyond. Of course, I'd say "Why the flipping **** would they do that?!" lol I'm just glad that I came here to reassure myself that I was just misreading the title!
@nurnberg LOL How would you know? Why don't you go put up a poll about that and find out? Stop generalizing things from you're perspective, just because you see it, doesn't mean it's happening all around.
