@xsonicchaos @theSFfan_1 What the hell was I labeling? If I was, then in no means was it in a negative light! And there is no war between genders or anything like that! People just want more well-written female characters in general, devs can do what they want, but of course, at the same time we're not forcing them to do something, just voicing out what we would want to see in the near future.
@LordCrash88 @evilace_stealth @xsonicchaos @theSFfan_1 Demand for male heroes? Last I checked, lots of people want more female heroes now, along with good gameplay and innovation. Most gamers don't even care who they play as. I'm sure if they represent more well-written female characters, people will open up alot .
I think some of you are oblivious to the real problem here : representation
Assassins can be both male and female
How bout showing the female side now that you have like, what, 6 games from this franchise that are heavily focused on the male side?
It's beginning to become a disappointment every time a main AC game is announced and you see the same ol' male character using recycled animations from 1-4. With prettier graphics.
The French Revolution would have been the perfect opportunity to introduce a female protag, dammit Ubi.
Yes, a disappointment, but gonna get the game anyway cause it looks awesome.
@mkdms14 Samus is a fixed character for metroid, she'll ALWAYS be the main
The AC series, however, isn't. Every game has a new protagonist, that can focus on either a female or male character.
You people should stop using the analogy of games with fixed leads : to games that have the capability of focusing on different people almost every time.
FFS Rockstar, if you actually KNEW and EXPECTED that issues would arise from the Online mode from the get-go, wouldn't you have done everything in your power to fix this shit prior to the two fucking weeks that this mode was on hold? 1 BILLION $(and counting) and what did you do? Buy out a fucking Casino? You done fucked up Rockstar.

If the story is well written and good, then who the **** cares about the protagonist's gender? If the persona's good, then why not? All-in-all, more developers should be a lot more open-minded nowadays.
All people are different. Regardless of gender. What I can't stand is people making asinine generalizations of how men and women should act, or what they should want.
I've seen men with feminine personalities and women with masculine personalites. I've seen men cower in fear and I've seen women protecting them. I've seen most of the possibilities that contradict a human being's gender.
Like what one of the comments said. A human persona is like a coin. The two sides don't matter, it's the QUALITY of the coin that matters.
@RicanV Tomb Raider sold a million copies over a span of 42 hours, and the game sold 3.4 million copies in it's first month, hell, still counting. Just because Square Enix said that the sales failed to meet their expectations, does NOT mean it didn't sell well. Because it sure as hell DID sell well! It's still on the top 10 in the UK charts for Christ's sakes.
