Nice work Sega, buy a golden licence, get some poor muppet company to make a mess of it, take all the profits when it sells anyway on licence alone, then let the muppet company take the backlash and die while you enjoy the profits. Well done.

Sums crytek up nicely I guess, they just churn out ok games with fancy graphics so people keep spending. They are like the summer special effects blockbuster company of the gaming world. Still, at least they dont make really bad looking games that play bad as well.

Blah blah blah. Look at the new machine, itss the best thing since sliced bread blah blah blah, look at this amazing trailer, gamers will look exactly like this, blah blah blah. No machine has ever lived upto the hype. Quit wasting our time with marketing crap, concentrate and making some killer launch titles with awesome gameplay. The graphics will be better, but wont be the best at launch and probably wont match high end pc's, so what, make the gameplay good and everyone will be happy.

id love to play this game, but im looking at a £150 ram upgrade and at least £200 on a grphics card, how can i justify this spending for one game when that money equals the cost of a 360 premium plus a game, this is the one thing that keeps me from being a serious pc gamer and i cant see that ever changing, unless i suddenly become rich.

I created a thread a whle ago titled, things the 360 could do with in a dash update. This was one of the ideas in there, now if MS could just read through the rest of the thread and get on with it, that would be great. :)

I'm even less convinced i should buy a ps3 after reading that, i can already stream music pictures and video to my 360, it has a better online capability, im not going to use the ps3 browser that crashes all the time when i have my pc and with the price and lack of games i see no reason to rush out and get one. The only thing that appeals right now is Home, it sounds kinda like a MySpace for the console but im not sure i would even use the console for this, i want to play games, if i want to socialised that way ill goto the pub. Anyway, maybe some killer apps will arive (killzone 2?) and change my view.

Im in europe so we probably have to pay the most for it, yes dx10 stuff is looking good but to get my pc upto spec id have to spend the same amount as buying a ps3, and i know which im going to do, MS can keep vista for a while yet, im a bit bored of the 5 yearly updates that require us to dig into our banks again for a new OS and then have to upgrade our pc's because it uses more resources. I wish MS would just find another way to bring in cash or accept the fact that market saturation slows profits. How much does Vista cost anyway? Im just going to get a ps3 and stick to playing on my consoles in the comfort of my living room with my top notch surround and HD plasma thanks.
