Well I've played Sands of Time for both the PS2 and PC. Both are great, but I prefer having a controller for one specific reason. During parts of the game there are spikes on the floor and if you run across them the spikes are triggered. Since the PS2 controller has analog sticks you can walk very slowly so they are not triggered, but with the keyboard you can't walk slowly at all because you either have to push the key or not push it at all. It was still a great game. The combat is extremely annoying and frustrating, but you'll still feel motivated to play through the whole thing because the story excecution is amazing. The platforming also stands out and you'll have fun running along the walls and what not. So... if you can play it with a controller then get it by all means. Don't let my little keyboard experience scare you though because I was still able to beat the game, but it's just a heads up.

Hmm sure I'll add you but I don't have L4D... yet. I would play with you if you got Team Fortress 2... which is really good. Umm if you're looking for good games why not get the Orange Box? 5 games for 30 bucks?

Hmm I would consider it... just because I'm actually going into film. And gaming is pretty much why I am still with Windows. Then again I could easily get both so...

Mann Im really gonna stick out in this thread but...

Duke Nukem 3D :P

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE Half Life and pretty much all Valve games. I also really do love Blizzard for Starcraft, but I'm a huge Duke fan. Just because it was the first 3D game i played lmao.

Yes it's still pretty active. And I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with mods and the updates that the PC version gets.

I think THE greatest is too controversial so... I'd say it's ONE of the greatest systems of all time.
