Not bad for a job where you sit on your a$$ 9 hours of the day, saying yes and no to this and that.
My heart bleeds for him, poor guy, how is he going to pay those bills, get that next private jet. He'll have to start living in the real world like the rest of us and save.
@GONtheSKYLORD @The_Kryptonian @krystyla You have to remember films make their money from Cinema releases and then DVD/Blu-ray sells on top. We are talking about a single game here not a franchise of games, compared to any film.
If films were $60 in a cinema, there is no way you or me would go to the Cinema to see it. Many people don't go to the cinemas now, because of ticket prices. So if movies were being released in Cinema and DVD/Bluray at $60 a shot, nobody would realistically buy or go and see them. So they wouldn't make the money. Do the maths yourself.
Even if they were selling these games are the same price as movie's, You are still talking about a large sum of money more than a film. You have to also remember this game has had pretty much a worldwide release. Films are regionally released.
Kind of a massive slap in the face and a kick in the balls to Hollywood. A single game has made more than Titanic and Avatar EVER could have made in 24 hours.
I'm absolutely loving the game so far, but it feels like a bit in the slap in the face that it's only been given 9.0 when GTA IV was given 10. GTA V is 100 times a better game. Perhaps it's time that Gamespot lowered the rating for GTA IV to make it fairer perhaps?
Probably find out somebody made a mess up in the dispatching department, failed to listen to the release date and dispatched them. Some spotty faced kid on his second day of the job.
It wouldn't surprise me either that some copies of the game were stolen, we have all heard in the past where new gaming consoles have been nicked. I wouldn't be surprised if the same happened here.
@bigsmoke1705 I don't think it's Amazon, as Amazon have been restrict told not to release them till September 17th. I have never seen the point in release dates either in this day and age. When shipments are reached to retailers, that's it they can sell them straight away.
@krayzie88 @The_Kryptonian If there is people out there that will buy the PC version and I have seen a lot of people asking about this on other discussions of GTAV. Then there will be a PC version if Rockstar feels they can make additional money.
@fredyellowone @The_Kryptonian I understand that, but think about companies who release software like Photoshop. One of the most pirated softwares on the internet. Should Adobe stop making Photoshop because it's pirated more than bought legally?
The thing is someone, somewhere would eventually port a PS3 or Xbox 360 of the game and allow it to run through an emulator on the computer.
However I don't think stopping a PC version would be a good idea. However it's all down to what Rockstar North thinks is best.
