@komuchen I believe the article said this DLC was included in a season pass. They'd rather get out this last DLC, than be sued again for not releasing what people paid for.
@ZackRoyer I agree. Also, she mentioned something about being understaffed 100 times over. From what I've read before, Valve is about hiring the best of the best. People that see great obstacles, and overcome them with the resources they have available, not complain that they don't have enough.
It seems like she didn't really like the environment there, combined with Valve working with Oculus Rift, so she was let go. As a parting gift, she was given the project she had been working on, so I'm not really seeing the problem.
@ALCHEMISTx24x7 I didn't say anything about a RTS game. I don't really consider tower defense games RTS. Besides, traditional RTS games like C&C control horribly on consoles.
So, are any of the games Microsoft includes with gold membership going to be comparable to the game PS+ subscribers get? I don't particularly have any problem with the games they've included so far, but they've all been old stuff that everybody who wanted them, already bought.
P.S. If you like tower defense games, Defense Grid is pretty sweet.
@Infinity_Gauntl I don't think that will ever happen. The only reason Sony even makes consoles is because originally, they were going to partner with Nintendo as an add-on for the SNES. When Nintendo execs freaked out at the last second over Sony having full control over their IP on disc based formats, they ditched Sony and went with Philips instead.
If it's on PC, and requires any login other than Steam, chances are I won't buy it. Sure there are exceptions, like Starcraft (duh), but not many. Also, any game that doesn't require any login is good too. However, since EA pulled their games from Steam to make them Origin exclusive, I've stopped buying them. The only game I really miss is BF3, but since it requires Origin and that silly web browser server list, I skipped it.
Sigh. My computer is starting to become obsolete. It may be time to build a new computer, and time to say goodbye to my Q6600. I would just try to find a QX9650 or something to that extent, but since they've become outdated, they're ridiculously expensive.
