@analgrin: Yeah, it happened in single player in previous versions starting in GT4. That was the second quickest return I've ever done (the first being Galerians for PS1). It turned me off to the series entirely after that.

Heh. An MMO from the company that can't even get their years old MOBA free from the rampant toxicity. I'm sure that'll go over well...

I stopped caring about Gran Turismo at all once GT4 brought in the stupid "your car is reduced to 25 MPH if an AI opponent so much as brushes against you" regardless of whether or not you initiated the impact. That alone soured me to the series pretty much permanently since that "feature" has been in play ever since. If the AI is going to scrape shields with me and not get penalized while *I'm* penalized, then the game is worthless to me, especially when the AI is programmed do to exactly that - bump you just to knock your speed to nothing for ten seconds. It's things like this that keep Forza leaping ahead of GT.

All the graphics in the world can't make up for craptacular mechanics like this.

Given that MLB is the lone sport that still has an anti-trust exemption I'm not exactly leaning toward sympathy for the team owners. It's long past time to ditch that exemption and put some pressure on the owners to make good for both their players and the cities they represent.

@Arseen: Fiber generally gives what it claims because it's EMI/RFI-free and uses single mode fiber to the node and only goes multimode fiber from the tap to the house. As such it's essentially a fully encapsulated (and insulated) system.

Mobile on the other hand, has to contend with:

Atmospheric conditions, aerosols/particulates, EMI/RFI (including CMEs from the sun), anything that might polarize any component of your equipment, and whichever band(s) you are receiving from the tower with the higher bands having the most interference potential. That's why mobile and anything on HFC only claims "up to" with regard to their speeds. They can't claim what actual speeds might be delivered because it's different for each client whereas the only thing that could lower fiber's speed is overprovisioning the node by way of too many users.

@Barighm: You can thank the liver lillied CRTC for that. Sadly with Manchin and Sinema basically blocking everything the Democrats try to get through, I doubt we'll get good confirmations in time to make a difference here on our side of the border. :(

Unless Square retroactively gives people the content from previous releases that was inexplicably removed in the pixel remasters, it's still going to be one hell of a hard sell for most players. Having a remaster with less content than the previous versions is all but a death knell for a game.

Since I dont have the version for PS4/PS5 I could deal with the $70 price tag. But putting it exclusively on the Epic store? Screw that. That makes it an instant no-buy from me.
