Ghostbusters (pre-owned)is only $17.99 at gamestop. I wasn't gonna pay the full retail price when it was released, but it think $17.99 should be worth it. The reviews were decent, plus I'm a 80's baby so wouldn't mind getting nostalgia. Anyone else gonna get it? Has anyone else played this? Thoughts? Opinions?
Ellimem, not only did you not contribute anything positive to the thread, you were also wrong. Some people on ths site think that they know everything. Matter fact, if you google it, you can find which year of Madden it was. I remember the year Madden said and I thought it was hilarious... I bought a few games from Gametsop a couple weeks ago when they had that buy 2 get 1 free deal. I purchased Mass Effect (around $10), The Orange Box ($17.99), and Afro Samurai ($17.99)... Hopefully, they have that deal or a similar one again soon becuase there's a few more older games I want to get.[QUOTE="sourcerah"][QUOTE="MaddenBowler10"] It's one of his quotes in the Madden NFL series on the PS2Tree06
I loved Afro Samurai. Huge fan of the show. One of the local Blockbuster's are closing, and they had Afro Samurai on sale for $9.99
I haven't played it that much, but it's great so fargood stuff guysMaddenBowler10
Quoting for fail. John Madden didn't say that quote, in fact no one did. The quote is Yogi Berra, "90% of the game is mental, the other half is physical."

Maybe it's because I love fighting games, but I don't see how you could leave Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Super Street Fighter 2 HD Remix, and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 off of your list of Xbox Live Arcade games. 2 of the 3 are arguably the best fighting games ever made. But whatever.... Anyways, I recently have been catching up on some of the earlier releases for 360 that I didnt get a chance to play like Assassins Creed, Bioshock, Mass Effect, and The Orange Box. I did not like Assassins Creed at all (I could not take the repetitiveness) and Bioshock was just OK to me. Nothing spectacular IMO. I completed Bioshock but couldn't get pass the second half of Assassin Creed. I haven't got far enough into Mass Effect to form an opinion, but the games in The Orange Box made it well worth the purchase. My question to you all is that I'm deciding on which games to purchase next. I was thinking about getting Dead Space, The Darkness (I can get this and Lost Planet for $10, is that a good deal?), Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata, TES:Oblivion, and Fallout 3... I have never played any of these games. For each, I read plenty of reviews, watched gameplay footage, and play demos, but I'm still stuck on which to get next. I know there's a few different genre's in the lstvof games but I just want to know the best to worst even if you have to do it by genre... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!! :)Jaysonguy
Oh those are great additions, next week you'll see some changes
As for the game I guess it's what you feel like playing. I loved Fallout and I loved Eternal Sonata
Dead Space is scary but also plays very well and Lost Planet is a quality experience (I enjoy the snow)
Break down the games a little more if you could? What would be the package deal and what are the ones you can get alone?
I apologize for the wall of text... I can get both The Darkness and Lost Planet for $10 all together (which I think may be a great deal because I was just about pay $8 for The Darkness alone). Eternal Sonata - $25-35. Tales of Vesperia - $35. Fallout 3 GOTY - $30. TES:Oblivion - $27. Dead Space - about $10... I'm also interested in GRAW 1 & 2, Prey, F.E.A.R. 1 & 2, Fable 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Mirror's Edge ($17.99), and both Rainbow 6's and Condemned's... I know you have all of these as recomended titles but do they go in or of appearance? I would like to know why you picked certain titles as well. Also, anybody else's opinion would be greatly appreciated. Most of these games I can for under $20 and sometimes 2 or 3 for $20. I would also like to mention that I'm a big fan of shooters, sports, and fighting but Dragon Age has made me want to play RPG's so much more. I feel like with the wealth of content put in the RPG's it gives us our money's worth in comparison to a game from another genre with 6-12 hour campaign with an above average mulit-player. I have yet to play many JPRG's or even WesternRPG's for that matter, but I'm interested in playing the best RPGs and judging by this site, Tales of Vesperia is one of the best.
