It''ll be back in 2-3 weeks... Mine took 2 weeks exactly. More than likely, they wont fix yours, but instead just send you a refurbished one... No, I believe the dates on your warranty stay the same...

I finally got Tekken 6, but the D-Pad for the standard 360 controller is a nightmare. Is there a 3rd-party controller or something that people prefer for use in fighting games? If getting precision is this hard for Tekken 6, I can't imagine how horrible it is for a game like Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

Do you not like using the analog stick? I've been using that over the d-pad since dreamcast/ps2... As another poster has already said, try the Hori EX2 fight stick or one of those Mad Catz SF4 controllers.

The Hori EX2 is probably one of the best. I should've bought it from Amazon when I saw it for $75 the other day... You should proabably ask this question on a different forum because there aren't too many fighting game fans on the xbox360 forum, as you can see from your two responses. try the Tekken 6, Street Fighter 4, Blazblue, or Soul Calibur 4 forums. You'll be able to get some better insight into your question over there.

Never bought it. I only played the first Halo and that was only for 10 minutes. It just never interested me.

[QUOTE="ghost5891"][QUOTE="HavocV3"]

Do any of your friends have the game?

Just install their game, give it back and then use your disc for the verification code, if you were able to get to multiplayer, that small bit of data HAS to be intact.

It reads that bit of data, then the DVD drive shuts off, so it should work.

ya just install someone elses copy of cod mw2 even if you have to rent a copy just to do it, 3 bucks to play a screwed disc is pretty good. like havoc said if your disc got to the menus then it will work. as far as the fighting stick goes the only one i ever had was the hori dead or alive 4 one with i really enjoyed having. honestly i wish i never would've got rid of it.

Thanks for the suggestions, ghost... Im gonna take it to this store that uses one of those scratch removers and see if that can work. If it doesn't i'll rent the game and install it. I have a feeling my friends will be stingy with their copies. I heard some good things about the DOA4 fight stick, I guess you agree with the positive remarks.

First off, you shouldn't have had your 360 standing in a place where a dog can knock it over.hillelslovak
Please don't talk to me like a child, I'm a grown man. You could've done without 4 sentences out of your 5 sentence post, as they were very uneccesary and only contributed common knowledge to the thread. What do you get out of talking to people like that on a video game forum?? But, thank you on your input on the fight stick. I was never one to spend that much money on a fight stick/controller but I've been hearing a lot of great things about the good ones. I was just wondering if they were over-exaggerating or do they really live up to the hype. I'm a fighting game fan, so I wouldn't mind making an investment, but only if its well worth it. But honestly, I have very few problems using the 360 controller. [QUOTE="HavocV3"]

Yea I was thinking about that. I might have to either do that or rent it. The only thing is, I only have a 20 GB , which means once I install it, I won't have space for much else (MW2 6.8 GB). Thank you for the suggestion.

I just made a thread about this but no one posted in it yet. I was thinking about getting it since it was about 43% off, but I didn't know of the quality and performance. I also want to know if theres another fight stick coming out around the same time as Super Street Fighter 4... I think it might be better if we post our questions in either the Tekken 6, Balzblue, or SF4 forums because I am on these forums daily and there seems to be very, veryfew fighting game fans.I think the users on the previously mentionedforums or other fighting game forums would be more knowledgeable about the subject at hand

I have two questions andwould appreciate if some of you can answer either or both... My dog knockedover my 360 this morning when I was playing COD:MW2. Now I have 3 rather larger scratches on it. I tried to play multiplayer but I can only get about 10-20 sec. into a match before the screen goes black and I get a "disc unreadable" error. I tried installing it to my hard drive but itgets to8% complete and I get that "disc unreadable" msg again. I also tried toothpaste and that didn't work either, unless I didn't do it longenough or I'm doing it wrong. Can someone help or give me any suggestions??

My next question is about a fight stick I just seen on amazon.com as the deal of the day. I love fighting games, for 360 I have Soul Calibur 4, Street Fighter 4, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix, Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. I will buy Blazblue and Tekken 6 (which i should bought when it was on sale at amazon for $20) when the price goes down. My question is that they have the Xbox 360 Real Arcade Pro. EX-SEHORIfor $79.99, is it a good fight stick and worth $80?Any help, info., uggestions, etc would greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

I lay mine horizontally on top of 8 dvd cases. That ensures that the console is properly ventilated and air circulated. Since i've been doing this, I can leave my console on for 8+ hours and it will never get hot. I also cover the vents on the top so that dust can not get in it when I'm not playing it.
