If the Final Fantasy series doesn't go back to how it was before and if the quality doesn't go back up, I will not be buying any more SE games. I passed on XIII-2 and will pass on any of their upcoming games if they don't go back to the classic JRPG formula that worked. There hasn't been a classic FF hit for such a very very long time.
Another thing too, is that people hyped up MGS4 so much that when I rented it upon release and didn't think it was very good, all the hype just made me hate the game more. Just don't see what people see in that series, especially that particular one. When people hype something up to death and it fails to live up to expectations, it just magnifies disappointment. I learned my lesson with letting hype get to me.
Agreed. I couldn't even finish Vesperia with the regurgitated, repetitious dialogue and Karol has to be one of the most annoying characters in any video game ever. I'm almost at the very end of Graces F. One of the very best JRPGs this gen and on PS3, in a gen lacking in good JRPGs.
Best games on PS3: D Souls I also agree that MGS4 was a disappointment because the story was so ridiculously silly, IMO. I wish video game companies hired better writers.
