E3 is a remnant of the past. A horribly mismanaged mess.
E3 died years ago when you needed "credentials" to attend. Then they reopened it to the public but the damage was done. It should be like Comic-Con, but it's not.
When Nintendo dropped them you knew the end was near.
The question isn't whether it's just an OLED display and 4K output. The question is whether there is a real upgrade to the chipset in the Switch, and even then, this sounds like a mid-gen upgrade as opposed to a new console.
I'd rather see a full replacement, next generation Nintendo console instead of "Pro" model.
Grappleshot sounds cool but also is concerning. Part of the greatness of Halo is the literal trek through the terrain whether on foot, air or land. I don't want to be able to abuse the Grappleshot in the campaign.
On the graphics end, I wanted photorealism. Maybe I'm on my own here, but with next gen tech, I'd expect more.
At the end of the day I'm all for quality of life upgrades, but I want it to still feel like a Halo game and have a story that makes sense unlike Halo 5. Which is too bad because 4 actually set everything up well.
@sonic_spark: BotW Sequel seems likely for the end of this year. I'd be shocked in Prime 4 was released this year though. I'm expecting late 2022 or early 2023 for MP4.
I kept saying that to myself for years with Twilight Princess haha. But I agree. It should be coming this year.
@sonic_spark: If we're talking Prime, they need to quick screwing around and drop the Metroid Prime Trilogy on Switch already. If we are talking 'real' Metroid, it's time for Metroid 5. It's been almost 20 years since the last real entry.
Metroid, Metroid II, Super, Fusion, is what you're referring to I guess? The remake of Return of Samus you're excluding I guess?
Other M was kind of a throwback, albeit, a bit linear. I'm guessing you're wanting a third person game. That would be awesome.
@silverado765: Just like we had the right to call her a bigoted right wing loon who had made an offensive comment.
Society changing because of everyone speaking out but one side kinda winning the argument doesn't mean that the side losing the argument is being oppressed. You're just losing...and losing for good reason....because we've effing had it with the white Christian nationalist superiority complex and their belief that they're supposed to control everything, even as a minority of the population.
The problem inherent in your argument is the assumption that "white christian nationalists" control everything. Democrats have won the overwhelming majority of presidential races since the early 1900s. Not all republicans are "white christian nationalists." Ironically, Biden is a white christian nationalist. Funny how that works. The problem is a two-party system.
Being diplomatic here, but the reality is that it is a double standard. Far left, social justice warriors and the entire cancel culture movement, is of itself, offensive. But no one "cancels" those individuals spouting threats and racist comments. The reality is they only represent a small portion of the democratic party. Democratic party is more than 80% moderate, and more than 80% of most ethnic groups hate political correctness regardless of political affiliation. Yet, this movement of always playing victim wield the social media power and they look for things to be offended by.
My points have nothing to do with Carano. I, myself, avoid any of this on social media because civil discourse is dead, period. A two-party system is absolute insanity and that is why congress as a whole is broken.
If you need to know my political views, just watch Bill Maher. I'm pretty much bang on with him.
