I personally enjoy each console (including handheld machines, Nintendo systems, etc) and PC gaming, so if one of them failed, I would be quite upset.

Competition within any market allows the consumer to have a larger voice, or at least that's how I see it. If one company completely dominated the market, they would not care if the majority of their player-base was upset because there wouldn't be anywhere else to run. Having choices is one of the best feelings in the world as a consumer, and the console market is no different.

First time since PS1 launched I am getting an Xbox first. I had games in past generations of Playstation that I was super pumped to get on launch, but I don't feel that this time around. I am getting an Xbox One and Wii U to tide me over console-wise until there is a good lineup of PS4 games. I'm honestly excited to try out a different system at launch, and look forward to a good generation of games.

There is no console war in my mind; I thoroughly enjoy every platform available for their own unique quirks and abilities. I agree with the premise of this video. Enjoy the new launches because they only come around so often!

This video brought back some solid memories from about seven or so years ago. I used to play D&D with a handful of friends each week when we found the time, and it was the best thing in the world. Playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends is what brought me into the MMO scene, and I began playing World of Warcraft. I had tried out EverQuest before that, but I never really got into it.

I admit that I've made many solid friends in WoW over the years, but it pales in comparison to the face-to-face interaction of tabletop games.

I would absolutely love to have a group of friends to meet up with each week and play some form of tabletop game. Hell, if people needed more incentive other than fun, we could make it a Chinese takeout/costume/tabletop extravaganza!
