@Eggs-Benedict So... my choices are Diablo III or CoD? I didn't know you were allowed to make that decision for me... How depressing.

@jakesnakeel @snared04 Your lack of attention span doesn't change the fact that this game was designed to hold gamers' attentions for years to come (like its predecessor did). Some games are designed to be played once or twice through, others are daily commitment type games. This is one of them.

@MatrixGamer78 @snared04 Doesn't matter who developed or published it. It still used all the exact same mechanics, just with a controller, which is an inferior medium for playing a game like this.

1 million unique players every day? Out of the 12 million you just said you sold? So... not even a year after release you're saying you have less than 8% of your population still playing? I'm sorry, but this article made it seem like that was a GOOD number... Even if you looked at 3 million in a month, that's still only 25% of the total sold still playing... That's pathetic. Whether you like the game or not, that's pretty bad.

The game has some interesting mechanics, but it failed to hold my attention like Diablo II did. They just didn't make character customization deep enough in most ways; i.e. everyone needing/going for the same stats, etc. And for every friend I have that still plays it I have 10 that tried it, and never came back because they were underwhelmed. Seems like Blizzard is looking at the same statistics. :)

P.S. I doubt this would be much fun on a console. Diablo I on PC >>>>>>>>>>>> Diablo I on PSX. Just saying.

If you haven't played the beta then stfu. This game is lots of fun. The heroes are very different from one another, the crafting is actually interesting, and the mix of "mmo" and action is actually very interesting. All these haters need to get a life.

@ Luke15g I could care less if you want to play console or PC. I get seriously pissed off at console idiots who keep saying "PC gaming is dead" while ignoring that consoles are, as you say, 5-year old, dumbed down PC's. It's also a pathetic situation when companies focus on the console version of something, and tack on the PC port as an afterthought. There are too many instances of this to mention, though some noteable ones would be SW: Force Unleashed, TeS IV: Oblivion, etc. So yeah, I get pretty pissed when one of my favorite games gets watered down and scrubbed clean of most of its original uniqueness and awesomeness so that some console players won't whine about the UI being too hard to navigate. Instead I get to whine about why a company wouldn't spend the time to include mouse support in their menus... *cough SW: The Force Unleashed* P.S. If you spend 3,000 dollars on a gaming PC.... you're doing it wrong.
