@HipHopBeats I agree, I bought the 360 at launch. I am happy with Pc gamming right now I have a strong built system SSD, I5 770GT I am all set for next 5 years of gaming...once It hits 5 years, Update my PC and get a PS4 or xbox 1 depending on witch one has more "Issues" Software Failures are easy fix But Issues like hardware BIG diff..
@Vienreich Yes I like sony, yes I liked the direction that MS was going with the "ALL In one entertainment system" Its what Ive wanted to see cable do for years. The 2 reasons I'm siding with Sony this gen so far is comments like this from MS “Fortunately we have a product for people who aren’t able to get some form of connectivity,” Mattrick said. “It’s called Xbox 360.” And The fact that last gen Xbox360 wasn't a long lasting system It had a lot of hardware issues....I'm waiting 2-3 years after this gens release before I pick what console to get. I got F** last gen with buying 2 xboxs. I loved xbox360 when it first came out till The hardware issues that me and my friends had...between 3 people 6 Xboxes were bought...
I did dislike the DRM issue, But the next gen console I buy will be based on its life span. last gen having to buy 2 Xbox 360s due to the red ring was just Uggg. I spent $1000 with MS and $400 with sony. I just want a console that I don't have to replace every 2 years due to "hardware issue"

I have a vita and enjoy it. The system lack power in some areas like Apps (netflix, skype, Interweb browser etc) like all PS products its to pricy for the amount of games they have out. I do enjoy it more than my 3ds, but both systems are lacking in alot of ways. I am very upset that they didn't show more at E3, but E3 2012 wasn't that good. I am glad were getting ps1 supposrt for the system, but I would love some new titles. I'm sure gravity rush won't hold me off for 6 months...If you plan on getting a vita save your money and wait. its the ps3 all over again Not enoth to keep you playing. this is my Idea on all new game systems....just wait this is the 4th launch of a system that I had like 3-4 games and got bored within the 1st month.
I agree with 7.5, just cause high end content isn't thier yet....But even wow didn't have high end contenet till 6 months after realse. Most people judge MMo's to quickly. For example FFXIV was crap and cuase it was crap when it came out it will always be known as crap no matter how much they improve. Swtor will be know as most hyped MMO with worst contentent. Wow is known as easy to get into, causal gamers, LOL 1-3 button pve. What I have learned abot the MMO market is to just play what feel fun for you. To me tera is fun so I will play it till I get bored. If you are looking for a next Gen MMO This one is fun Combat system feels engaging/ 5mans feel fun again, questing in this game is all kill quest, I haven't done pvp but Bgs come out this summer and possibly raids. IT JUST CAME OUT PEOPLE, It takes time for New MMo's to get to a fun point. If ya wan't F2P better quest/grinding Go Gw2...
Blizz and dota.....well that's just funny to watch, it's like watching activison and respawn going at it. As for the handheld stuff, well I am a all around gamer. Guess what I'm getting one and have a 3 DS. I don't think hand held gaming is dead its just that a lot of the newer gamers(aka the people that started playing games when it was no longer for the losers and nerds) don't play a lot of hand held games. So of course the handheld market is going to be smaller and sell less. Not to mention that a lot of the hand held gamers are jumping on the 3ds cause of the price drop and it's also been out for nearly a year so it has proved that it is worth getting. Anyone who has been into hand held gaming knows that it tends to have a lot of flops, most of the people have learned their lessons and decided its better to wait before buying. I would say give it a year and the vita will start selling well (depending on what happens) so no gamespot handheld gaming is not dead. People are just a lot more cautious when it comes to hand helds.
So far I'm hoping Sony will be top of the consoles next gen. The wii was fun, but I only found the system usefull when friends were over. I also found the controller hard to handle and slugish at Times. The other major issue was game titles, there wasnt many games on wii i liked. This made me very sad cause nintendo is favorite out of all the console makers. As for last gen the GameCube was my fav once again for multiplayer. I still have my GameCube and play it when friends come over. the Xbox 360 was so amazing to me when it first came out, but I started having hardware issues and had to buy a second one. Not long after buying the second one the power supply on the new one died and would die 3 more times until I got sick of having to buy more cheap hardware just to play games. I will never buy another xbox console unless its during thier 4 version of the new Mircosoft has proved to me that they make stuff too cheap just to lower price. Thats cool and all but its not worth it if i have to spend \\\\\\\$800 just to keep playing a console. Ive even know people who work at game store who had to buy 5+ systems. Xbox is not getting my money next gen if i canhelp it. The only reason I kept my Xbox for so long was for halo and fable. Halo was amazing except for 3 and odst. Fable had amazing grafic and combat, but once again Peter overdid the hype and the games were awful. After I beat fable 3 I decided it was time to sell off the system that kept being a huge money dump. So far selling my Xbox before more issues arose was the best decision I made during this whole gen....btw sorry for all the Xbox bashing but just sharing my experience with the console. Last gen the original Xbox was my fav for power and online play. I am a huge fan of Xbox but just had bad luck this gen. I hope Xbox can fix the issue in next gen. Playstation was very good this gen except for price. I didn't buy my ps3 till the first slim batch. I am glad I wated for a slim, the hd on the first modle would have been full. And I hate managing save data. I haven't had many issues with Sony this gen save for the whole psn thing. I also hated the fact that I have a bunch of ps2 games, but can only play ps one games on the slim. Backwards compatibility is a major thing for me. It's part of the reason why I like Nintendo so much. As for last gen playstation became my fav for games, the list of games on the ps2 was amazing. I still have my 1st gen bulky ps2 and still use it at least 3 times a month. Pc has been a fav this gen, with the burst of mmorpg's i have found myself using it the most. Sadly keeping a pc running with top grafics is a little more expensive than I would like and always has been. I don't think I can afford pc gaming next gen and it makes me very sad. Right now my computer is starting to get out dated and I can't afford new parts. So far my budget only will let me afford 1 console for next gen and I am going with Sony. If they plan on being last to realse the console again then it might be just as overpowered as the 3 was this gen.
