think im going to ignore all reviews on this game, being linear isnt a bad thing!

plus they gave final fantasy 9 the same score which is arguably the best one there is

what a silly article he is thinking way too far into it, and how he thinks it was obvious who the killer wasis beyond me??

the game is what it is, the storymoves along nicely andit provokes the right emotions.

id like to know what games hes reffering to that have better storys??

am i the only person who thinks mass effect 2 is way over rated? the lack of rpg elements, the fact it doesnt have the impact that the first game had, variety inmission structure? and thelength (you say 30 hours when i was done in under 17)

  • the results of the spray painting were putrid
  • on the racing game they showed, holding up your arms for longer than the length of this youtube would be tough. Normal driving involves resting your arms on a steering wheel
  • that "milo" or whatever was extremely creepy not to mention there is no way that is anything more than fake imagining of what's possible

.... just bad. If it's the future then this video is not any indication of that. The future of natal seems to be that your actual physical abilities will affect your status as a gamer (the guy roundhousing his virtual opponent)

GunSmith1_basic

i think the devs behind the ps3 wand pointed out natals main flaw where they said shooting without a trigger realy doesnt feel right without a trigger.

i reckon that basicly any action you do using natal wether it be witha swordor writing orshooting ordriving is just not going to feel right without something in your hand.

bungieisnt using itfor the 360's main franchise becausethey know its not going to work.

the whole doing mundane tasks thingis so you get attached to the characters you practicly live as they do. so when it comes to having to do a more intense task such ascutting the end of your finger off to save your son (as hinted in another trailer) its going to feel all the more real.

and alsothis isan adventure game, in adventure games you walk around speak to people solve puzzles ect and let the story unfold.

what do all you haters want a sub machine gun strapped to him?

Is anyone disapointed with the stripped down rpg elements? PLus the removement of the mako and
adding the pod system? I have the game and love it, but it doesn't
surprise me when bioware obviously has EA and big money and marketing
backing this game and is trying to appeal to more of a mass audience.
It's fairly obvious to me this game is more geared towards action while still retaining teh great characters and story telling, but they've streamlined it a bit. Trying to get an intelligent discussion going here without fanboys
chiming in saying how can you say that.

i was disapointed too the rpg elements are pretty much non existant your characters might aswell not level up at all, getting new weapons and equipment feels lame.

That's the jist I got from Kevin VanOrds review. It's pretty obvious he's saying it's more geared towards action and they streamlined a lot of the rpg stuff while retaining the great graphics and storytelling. Not that this is a bad thing, but I did make a post here the other day when companies start trying to appeal to a mass audience. I don't know if this is good or bad. I'm sure it will piss off a few rpg purists. Dragon Age might be more of a purist rpg in that regard. Same with ME1. ME2 is great don't get me wrong, but its more focused on action and great storytelling and characters while also having rpg elements.. They hit a good balance and it will sell a ton but still.

definatly and personaly i think the games worse off being more action orientated. also, too damn short!
