and one more thing. I'm starting to wonder if these reviewers even know what misogyny means. There's a big difference between portraying women in a way that may be unflattering, and a downright hatred of women. These reviewers throw these words out there because it's a buzzword, but ultimately look foolish because they're using it completely wrong.
so let me get this straight. You play a game that glorifies gang activities, extreme violence, various crimes like thievery and murder, and even the mentally unstable. Yet you choose to highlight something like "Politically muddled and profoundly misogynistic"?
.......wow. I think that says it all. This is exactly what is wrong with the game industry today. The reviewer might want to review her damn priorities. And that's before taking into account the fact that GTA has always parodied things like this. This is a complete joke.
its just Gamespot being Gamespot. it's getting stellar reviews across the board, sitting at a great 85 on metacritic. Gamespot, as usual, is on the lower end of the spectrum.
Mr. McShea, I must stand up and give you a round of applause. Sometime in your life, you were able to successfully convince a jaded employer that a common internet troll would not only be a great addition to their team, but that it was actually a good idea to pay said troll for a number of ridiculous conclusions that only your mind could come up with. This is not the first of your articles that has baffled me, and it certainly won't be the last. So thank you. Whenever I'm feeling down and need a good laugh, or i'm in the mood to see something ridiculous, I merely have to come to Gamespot, and look up your latest article. Congratulations to you good sir!
