I'm torn on this. I have a PS4 Pro which gets me the 4K games I need and the Xbox One S for the 4K Blu-Ray. I wanna buy this for release but my concern is exclusives. Are there gonna be that many games that take full advantage of the higher specs? Most multi-plat games are gonna be developed for PS4 then ported to XONE X. At least I assume it would take less time to upscale then downscale. So, they are going to have to make it worth it for me.

Not to compare Nintendo and Microsoft, but what games took advantage of the power with the New 3DS besides Xenoblade? I don't think anything else (at least state-side.) So I'm a little skeptical at the moment. But time will tell, I guess.

@phantomvibes: Exactly. The virtual console on the Switch is a fantastic idea. Having all your classic games in a next-gen console on-the-go. But, just as Nintendo did with discontinuing the NES classic for bizarre reasons unknown, I could see them pulling this move and claiming they "listened to fans' feedback."

I have the worst feeling that Nintendo will use this to replace the virtual console. This would be the Nintendo thing to do. I love my Switch, but I can see them shooting themselves in the foot by only offering a few classic titles through this service instead a full-fledged virtual console since no one wants to play classic games on the go, right? I just hope I'm wrong.

@zinten: My Samsung TV automatically changes inputs when a device is turned on. So, every time the Switch sends a signal to my TV, even in sleep mode, my TV changes the input to the Switch's input. And this can happen 3 or 4 times in a minute, or once an hour, or not at all. It's god-awfully annoying.

@mrg4m4r74 Agreed. Most games these days keep my attention for a week a best. I rarely complete games anymore because they've continued to bore me. It's a shame really. A lot of money spent, and I feel like I never get my money's worth.

Still addicting for a game. Just a shame so much has been removed. Every time I have an idea of something I want to do with my Sim, chances are it's missing and that's disappointed. ESPECIALLY when we all know it will be resold as DLC. Fun, nonetheless.

@tony56723 It just looks all the same. I wish I would have gotten into the beta myself, but it's always this Call of Duty-style multiplayer crap. I guess that's why I'm on my second playthrough of LttP in 2 days. *shrug* Games these days are just carbon copies of one another...

@mruizinho Their major issue is they're taking too long getting these exclusives out. They have great games being developed, they're just taking forever. I wanna play Super Mario 3D World (just tight on cash right now), Super Smash Bros, Zelda, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong etc., but these games are either delayed or nowhere being released in the foreseeable future. Bad move on their end. I'm surprised I haven't sold mine yet, but paying $349 on release day and only being offered like $80 from GameStop just isn't worth it.
